Hi, I translated the pt_BR translation of Community Events, Events Calendar and Calendar PRO using Poedit. The archives are available here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/215hbn
My email is [email protected] and I’d like a license for Community Events, if possible.
And I am willing to correct/re-translate anything per request. 😉
January 22, 2014 at 4:33 pm #95765LeahMemberThanks memeco! I’ve download the files and I’ll be able to test them in the next few days. Once I confirm that they are working, I’ll update you here and email you with a coupon.
Best,
Leah
January 24, 2014 at 10:46 am #96528LeahMemberHi memeco,
Thanks for your patience. I checked out the files you sent, and it looks like you may have updated the existing translation without using the updated .pot file. It’s important to do this so that the new strings which have been added (like our CSV importer) are available for your translation.
To get the new strings, open the .po file for your language in PoEdit. Then click Category –> Update from POT File. Select the .pot file from the /lang folder you downloaded above, and the new strings will then be available in your .po file for you to translate. Once you have those translated you can send me the new files.
Thanks for your hard work!
Best,
Leah
January 28, 2014 at 9:26 am #97751memecoParticipantAny updates on that?

EmersonJanuary 28, 2014 at 9:30 am #97754memecoParticipantOops, sorry, Leah.
I didn’t see your 2nd reply, here are the files with the .pot files included: http://www.sendspace.com/file/cxj1j0
Thanks,
EmersonFebruary 4, 2014 at 6:17 pm #100857LeahMemberHi Emerson,
Thanks for getting in touch. I was testing your files and unfortunately what I’ve discovered is that the problem is on our side- the .pot file was not regenerated in our last release, which is why you haven’t been able to get it all the way up to date. I’m so sorry about that! I have updated the .pot file and you can download it here:Â https://cloudup.com/c0xj8oPedzl
Updating your .po file with that one will give you the correct strings. My apologies! I am working now to rectify this problem so that no one else will have to deal with an outdated .pot file.
Best,
Leah
February 5, 2014 at 5:22 am #100940memecoParticipantHi Leah, this .pot file is for Events Calendar only, are the .pot files for Events Calendar Pro and Community Events okay and working?
February 5, 2014 at 2:02 pm #101121LeahMemberThanks for asking! I should have mentioned previously that while PRO is mostly okay, we had the same problem with Community. I’ve updated all the .pot files in the Getting Started post so they are all updated and include those recent strings. If you could correct The Events Calendar and Community Events at least, that would be great.
Best,
Leah
February 6, 2014 at 9:42 am #101373memecoParticipantThere, everything re-translated again and I believe I’ve done it correctly now: http://www.sendspace.com/file/0yf893
Looking forward to your reply, Leah. 🙂
February 7, 2014 at 5:30 am #101841memecoParticipantAnd here are all the files with all the translations available + Portuguese BR (13MB): http://www.sendspace.com/file/20en31
February 7, 2014 at 2:49 pm #102042LeahMemberHello Emerson,
I’m sorry, but it still looks like those files are not updated- there are a number of recent strings missing. I went ahead and updated the files you sent with the latest .pot files. They are now all ready for you to translate- when you open them in PoEdit you’ll see the yellow strings (which may need correction) as well as a number of untranslated strings. Once those are put into Brazilian Portuguese, we’ll be all set 🙂 You can download the updated .po files here.
Best,
Leah
February 11, 2014 at 5:25 am #103135memecoParticipantThank you for making the new files available, Leah!
New translation is in progress, I plan to finish and deliver around next Friday. 😉
February 11, 2014 at 1:11 pm #103439LeahMemberThank you Emerson! I really appreciate your persistence 😀
February 14, 2014 at 12:52 pm #104596memecoParticipantAnd here it is: http://www.sendspace.com/file/fz7vee this is the version 1.0 of my translation, I didn’t review much of it, but during this weekend I plan to review it and eventually some version 2.0 might appear later. (I’m so hoping it works out fine for you now :p )
February 14, 2014 at 5:41 pm #104859LeahMemberHey Emerson,
Thanks so much, these look awesome! I’ve added them to the plugin so they’ll be part of the upcoming maintenance release. And I’ve added your name to the credits.
I’ll be emailing you shortly with a coupon for Community Events. Thank you so much for all your hard work!
Best,
Leah
