ParticipantSo, I paid for the upgrade to Events Calendar Pro 3.4, however I an unable to install it. I don’t even get an option to install. It downloads the zip files, but I cannot run anything. So, I’m wondering if it’s because I set up a separate account and I should have used my already existing account.

MemberHello centralbarkoswego,
Thanks for posting. I definitely want to make sure you can get the plugin installed! I’ll need a little bit more information to get me started on troubleshooting. Can you tell me which of our plugins you are currently running, and what version(s)? When you try to install the plugin .zip file, are you getting any sort of error or message? And finally, can you elaborate on what you said about the two separate accounts? I wasn’t sure if you are referring to WordPress site accounts, tri.be site accounts, or something else. Once I have the above info I should be able to help you out. Thanks for your patience and support!
Best,
Leah

MemberHello centralbarkoswego,
Your username for this site is centralbarkoswego. When you log into this site it looks just like logging into your WordPress site, but if you check the url you’ll see that it’s different. You’ve bought and paid for our plugin, but it sounds like you haven’t yet installed it on your website. You might also have a WordPress site with the username centralbarkoswego, and you’ll need to decide which site you want the calendar on.
We have a tutorial video here that you might find useful. You’ll want to make sure you’ve downloaded both our core plugin, The Events Calendar (from here) and Events Calendar PRO from your account’s downloads page (https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/).
If you have trouble, let me know and I’ll do my best to help. Thank you for your support!
Best,
Leah

MemberHello centralbarkoswego,
Hmm, that is strange. Are you working with a web developer or site administrator? The plugins page would only be missing from the menu if it was purposely disabled for some users or if you did not have sufficient administrative privileges on the site.
If you are not working with anyone else, you may need to do some deeper troubleshooting with your WordPress install. If the plugins page is missing then the issue is with your install itself, so we wouldn’t be able to help you there. Once you have your plugins page back we can certainly help you get set up with The Events Calendar. Let me know if there’s anything else I can do here for you.
Best,
Leah
