    Hi Soosie,

I’m afraid you’ve hit that point where in order to make it do what you’d like, you have to get under the hood and modify some code. We have a couple of resources to help you do that. The first is the Themer’s Guide (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/) and the second is our documentation (http://docs.tri.be/).

If you don’t want to go there, and you still want to make it bend to your will, you may want to look for a developer who could give you an assist. A good place to ask might be over at http://jobs.wordpress.net/.

If neither of those work out for you, let me know.

    Hi citydock,

First off, my apologies. I must have overlooked your post earlier. I’ve not honored our commitment to a 24-hour turnaround and for that I’m sorry.

Does this document have what you need? http://docs.tri.be/Events-Calendar/class-TribeEventsBar.html Again, I can’t help with customizations other than to point you in the right direction. Let me know if that’s not the right direction.

    Hey richbkk,

What Facebook events are you trying to import? There are limitations with the Facebook API on what we can import. It must be from a Facebook organization or Facebook page, not a personal profile. And the calendars must be rated for all ages. Oh, and events must be in the future.

Would any of those be the source of the problems?

    Hey Lauren,

Yes, you are correct. It is a feature of the Events Calendar PRO premium plugin.

And since this topic is getting a little long in the tooth, I’m going to close it out. If anyone has additional questions, please feel free to start a new thread.

    Hey Ben,

A couple of things for you working in the multisite environment. First, there is no shared calendar. Each site has their own calendar that is independent of all the others. Just so you know.

Second, I’ll let you in on a little secret. When you purchase a license, you gain access to the downloads and support for one year. But we have no idea which site that license is tied to. There’s nothing to stop you from installing it on all your sites, but only entering the license on one. You’d still get the downloads and support. What you don’t get is the ability to do dashboard updates for all sites. You could do that for the one associated with the license, but the others would involve manually uploading the file and installing it. Shhhhh….

Do you have any other questions I can answer?

    Hey Miriam,

One of the features included with the Events Calendar PRO is the ability to save venues and all their information. You can then set a default venue and choose others from a drop down list once they’ve been added. It certainly does make things easier, and more accurate!

Do you have any other questions I can help you with?

    Hi Miriam,

Oh my! That won’t do at all!

While some of the plugins are shown on that page, you can get to all of them through the “Products” item in the top navigation menu.

Sorry for the confusion, but thanks so much for pointing it out! We’ll make sure we address that.

    Hey Tony,

So many features, so little time! Thanks for your understanding, patience, and continued support.

When there are features that you’d like to see us offer, do you know you can add your vote to our Feature Ideas page? Do a quick search and see if someone else has already proposed it, and add your vote if they have. If not, feel free to enter your own idea. Every vote counts!

    Hey Tony,

Yes, tickets for recurring events is a much-requested feature. We’re working on it! Thanks for your support in the meantime.

Since it sounds like you’re a full-fledged customer at this point, if you’ve got further questions you can ask them in the appropriate customer forums here on the site.

And it sounds like you’re good for now, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread.

    Hey Paul,

If I follow, looking at the other thread you opened it looks like you got your questions answered over there.

Did I miss something? Anything left that I can help you with?

    Hi all,

Hmmm…. I think I see what you are talking about. I’m going to pass this over to one of the more dev-minded members of the team and have them take a look. They’ll let you know what they find and post it here.

Stay tuned. Thanks for your patience!

    Hi Annette,

Thank you for your interest in the Events Calendar plugins! From what I understand of your situation I think either ticketing option could possibly work for you. You can take a closer look on our demo site at both the WooCommerce option (http://wpshindig.com/event/the-events-calendar-wootickets-wordpress-demo/) and the Eventbrite option (http://wpshindig.com/event/the-events-calendars-eventbrite-wordpress-demo/). The cost of each of these options is $65/year and you can find more info about them on their product pages. However, since you are a non-profit, you should send an email to pro (at) tri.be to see if you quality for our Non-Profit Partnership program (https://tri.be/faqs/do-you-offer-discounts-for-non-profit-organizations/).

The only thing that concerns me from what you’ve said is the need to track registrants by name AND organization. The plugins gather name and email, but not organization. I don’t know if that’s a deal-breaker for you.

If I can answer any additional questions, please let me know.
