GuestI have used Event Spot through Constant Contact and am considering a move. Our organization recently changed our website over to a WordPress site and use Event Calendar. We have meetings trainings and free events during the year along with a few paid events. I am trying to determine which ticketing option WooCommerce Tickets or EventBrite would be best for us. We would like to have a way for people to RSVP to free events and to pay and register for paid events. For our trainings we need to have an option for which of multiple training sessions our attendees would like to attend. We need to track registrants by name and organization for all these events. We are a registered 501.c.3 organization (PTA). I need to know cost for us for the year also. Thanks for your help.

ParticipantHi Annette,
Thank you for your interest in the Events Calendar plugins! From what I understand of your situation I think either ticketing option could possibly work for you. You can take a closer look on our demo site at both the WooCommerce option (http://wpshindig.com/event/the-events-calendar-wootickets-wordpress-demo/) and the Eventbrite option (http://wpshindig.com/event/the-events-calendars-eventbrite-wordpress-demo/). The cost of each of these options is $65/year and you can find more info about them on their product pages. However, since you are a non-profit, you should send an email to pro (at) tri.be to see if you quality for our Non-Profit Partnership program (https://tri.be/faqs/do-you-offer-discounts-for-non-profit-organizations/).
The only thing that concerns me from what you’ve said is the need to track registrants by name AND organization. The plugins gather name and email, but not organization. I don’t know if that’s a deal-breaker for you.
If I can answer any additional questions, please let me know.
