ParticipantI would like a user to be able to switch to “month view” without selecting a certain date. Currently, the url gets appended with “/month/?tribe-bar-date=Date” if I just click “Month View,” which produces no events. Is there a way to show all events in month view if no date is selected? My events page is here: http://naptownmusic.net/events/

ParticipantHi there citydock,
That’s odd, and definitely not the way it is designed to work.
It looks like you’ve disabled the tribe bar, and when we tested that locally we couldn’t reproduce the problem. Does the same thing happen when you have the tribe bar enabled? And did you deactivate all the other plugins and revert to the default twenty-eleven theme?
If those steps clear it up, that would lead us to believe its either a conflict with another plugin or an issue with your customization. I can’t help you with your customization other than pointing you to our documentation (http://docs.tri.be/).
But if you have some specific questions where we can point you in the right direction, or if I’ve misunderstood the nature of the trouble, please let me know!

ParticipantThanks for your quick reply, Julie. Yes the same thing happens when I have the tribe bar enabled. I installed Events Calendar on a fresh WP install with the default template and added the same plugins I’m using on naptownmusic one by one, hoping to find a conflict. No luck, the calendar works perfectly there. I removed all the files from the “tribe-events” folder in my theme. Still no luck. So the problem must be with my theme.
Can you tell me what exactly controls the tribe bar functionality? Because my issue is that when I click “month” view, it doesn’t simply add “/month/” to the url, it adds the full search string ( ?tribe-bar-date=Date&tribe-bar-search=Search ). Maybe if I understood this a little bit better, I could pinpoint the issue. Is this using a certain .js file? Or some functions?
Thank you so much for your help!

ParticipantHi citydock,
First off, my apologies. I must have overlooked your post earlier. I’ve not honored our commitment to a 24-hour turnaround and for that I’m sorry.
Does this document have what you need? http://docs.tri.be/Events-Calendar/class-TribeEventsBar.html Again, I can’t help with customizations other than to point you in the right direction. Let me know if that’s not the right direction.
