Josh
ParticipantHey,
I don’t have a set timeframe for this particular issue. It’s currently not set to be addressed in this next release. However, after this, we will have a modification to our release process that will allow for quicker resolution and releases for bug issues such as these.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Elizabeth,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
I just checked out the links you’ve provided and didn’t notice a double footer on any of those pages. Is this happening when you’re logged into the site?
For the other questions:
- There is an option within the General tab under the Event Settings that allow you to include the link in your calendar. You can uncheck the option there (https://cloudup.com/cYLSC_trru9)
- Can you give me more information about the specific texts that you would like modified? When looking at these, you can use the built-in developer tools within your browser to “inspect” the items on the page that you would like to modify. From there you can get the class selector for those elements and set the “font-size” to the size you would like within your theme’s style.css file.
Thanks!
Josh

You can add to that section by duplicating the “add_action” portion to move the form within the single-event view and changing the first argument for the add_action to “tribe_events_after_the_content”.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

There isn’t a way to handle this automatically by default. You could potentially do some custom dev to have events coming from specific pages assigned to a particular category.
However, the simplest way would be to create the needed categories within the Event Categories taxonomy and manually assign the categories to the events after import.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Sheila,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
When clicking “Save this Ticket”, does it transition to this type of view https://cloudup.com/cTiEaPj70KW rather than continuing to show ticket creation form along with the radio for selecting WooCommerce or RSVP?
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey,

This definitely sounds like a strange issue here. To clarify:
- You’ve created an event within WordPress and added eventbrite tickets to the event
- While in desktop view, the tickets appear as expected
- On mobile, the tickets show as donation rather than as paid tickets
Also, you mention that you have the tickets hidden. How do you have them hidden in this instance? Do you have the complete event set to draft? When clicking the link in your original message, it goes to a 404 page for me currently.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Chris,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Sure thing! Within the general event settings, there is a setting to limit the display of recurring events to just the first instance https://cloudup.com/cpKgB4xbFRC.
Let me know if this works to address the archive view issue you’re describing.
Thanks!

This is definitely an interesting request. Looking at the options for extending capabilities, I don’t believe there would be a simple snippet that I could provide here to get you what you’re looking for.
However, looking at https://wordpress.org/plugins/restrict-author-posting/ it seems like you could set up a category based access for editing using that plugin.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!
February 3, 2016 at 8:05 am in reply to: Search bar – additional fields and different date search #1067027Josh
ParticipantHey Cristofer,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
For your first question, showing the full month of events in list view, I’m not sure there is a set way for handling this. You could modify the datepicker to select a month rather than a set date, however the posts per page would be limited to 10 posts by default (or whatever your global setting is). With this, you would sometimes have events showing outside that month or not all of the events showing.
For the search by field, the simplest approach would be to somehow utilize the event categories to allow for filtering by this additional information. If not, you could look into a plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-fields-search/ to help in expanding what that default WordPress search uses.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Kc,
Thanks for following up here.
Looking at the screenshots, it definitely looks like there are some customizations here in the theme. Personally, looking at some of the sections (particularly the bottom section) they appear to be displaying as designed and look pretty good to me.
However, take a look at your theme’s style.css file for “tribe-events…” type triggers or, if there is a “tribe-events” folder within the theme look at a “tribe-events.css” file there.
There you can review the styles that have been applied and modify to get them to display as you would like.
Without a direct link to the site, it would be difficult for me to provide specific snippets here for addressing these particular issues.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Abigail,
I’ve done some further testing on this as well and can also verify the bug here.
I’ve created an internal bug ticket for tracking this issue. I’ve added this thread to that ticket and you’ll be notified here as we make progress on this one.
If you have any further questions about this or the process, please don’t hesitate to follow up here.

ParticipantHey Larry,
I apologize for the wrong screenshot there. I am however still seeing more than 4 Organizers in the dropdown (https://cloudup.com/c73_pKKL8ob).
Which browser are you using and experiencing this issue with? I’ve tested with latest Chrome and Firefox and both displayed the organizers as expected.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Jonathan,
Thanks for following up here.
Looking at what you have here, it looks good to me and since it is working for you here it doesn’t appear to be a bad solution until the issue is addressed directly within the plugin.
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHey Stacey,
No problem. I look forward to hearing back from you here.
Thanks!
