    Hey,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

That’s a strange problem and definitely not how that feature should work. I took a look at the site and it appears that all the single views are linking to the same page (http://www.coachtrainingalliance.com/class/yoga2life-coach-program/).

As a starting point, can you verify for me that you’re using the latest version of the plugin (version 3.7) and have completed the testing for conflict instructions?

I’m sorry I wasn’t able to give you more direct help, however hopefully we can narrow down the issue when testing for the conflict. Let me know how that process goes for you.

    Thanks!

    Hey Steve,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

The site looks great! I’ve never been diving but it’s definitely on the bucket list 🙂

For the first issue, I believe this may be a remnant of the “Local Diving Opportunities & News” section images. The images are wrapped in a slider markup that includes an unordered list. I believe that the bullet showing is a remnant of that unordered list and is displaying prior to the slider CSS loading. We can verify this by checking to see if the bullet remains after temporarily disabling the calendar widget on the home page.

For the spacing of event details, you can clear that up by targeting the “.tribe-events-adv-list-widget h4” and reducing the bottom margin on that element. Additionally, you could also increase the font size of the same “h4” element to give the title a little more weight in comparison to the date below.

Let me know if this helps clean things up for you.

    Thanks!

    Hey Nathan,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Unfortunately I was unable to replicate the issue with the events displaying by post date rather than event date after completing the steps in the tutorial.

Do you mind posting the exact code you used for your site here as well as a link to where the mini calendar is being used on your site? This will help me narrow in on what may potentially be happening and help us get this resolved for you.

    Thanks!

    Hey!

Thanks for reaching out to us.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble getting the title to display properly on your calendar. Based on the issue you’re noticing with the code showing in your dashboard, it sounds like the code may be placed in your functions.php file outside of the PHP tags.

If the code was pasted at the bottom of your functions.php file, ensure that it is included before the closing “?>” tag.

If the code is pasted at the top of your functions.php file, ensure that it is included after the opening “<?php” tag.

This should fix the issue with the code displaying within your dashboard as well as hopefully fix the title display for you. Let me know if this does fix the issue. If it doesn’t we can definitely dig into this one a bit further.

    Thanks!

    Hey Christine,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Is this a one time transfer of all events from one site to another? If so, you can use the traditional WordPress Export/Import functionality. You can navigate to “Tools” -> “Export” on your current site and then import them into your new site by navigating to “Tools” -> “Import” and following the steps for importing data from another WordPress install.

However, if you’re looking for a constant syncing between two sites where new events added to one are automatically displayed on the second, this isn’t something that is currently possible with The Events Calendar. If you would like, you can log a feature request for this type of functionality here. Our developers can then evaluate the possibility of including this feature in a future release.

For limited functionality, there is an RSS feed that is generated for events that could be used to display the events on the second website. It is limited in the data that is displayed but could add a bit of automation to the process.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hey,

    Thanks for reaching out!

For the system  to handle the event properly, there needs to be an end time set for all events that aren’t  selected as “All Day Events”.

Could you give me more details on how you would like for these events to display? If so, maybe we can find a solution that fits what you’re looking for.

    Thanks!

    Hey,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

There is a great third-party plugin available on the WordPress.org forums here that will allow you to set different colors for each of your event categories.

Let me know if this gets you what you need.

    Thanks!
