Facebook Event Category

After import the events from facebook, have a option put them a different categories?

I runing a City Events Site, and i collecting events from facebook, then i need put them to categories, like Party, Sport, Culture, Family, etc…

Thanks for reaching out to us!

There isn’t a way to handle this automatically by default. You could potentially do some custom dev to have events coming from specific pages assigned to a particular category.

However, the simplest way would be to create the needed categories within the Event Categories taxonomy and manually assign the categories to the events after import.

It would be handy for me, if I could link an user in Facebook to the type of events he/she normally organises. This would be the process:

Wnen I organise an event it is always in the category “dancing”, so my events get the automated check in the box: dancing.
