KeymasterHi,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I’d be happy to help you 🙂
Maybe your issue is due to the fact you updated Events Calendar PRO before updating our core plugin. Could you try to deactivate EC PRO and then try to update The Events Calendar (core plugin)?
Please let me know if you still encounter an issue.
Cheers,
JeremyJeremy
KeymasterHi,
Elastic Events is a free plugin, indeed. It will communicate with ElasticPress, which is a free plugin as well. And you need ElasticPress because it will allow you to hook your website up to your Elasticsearch host.
The Elasticsearch host can actually go on your own server. However, if you can’t use your own server, you may use a host like Searchly.com or Elastic Cloud to manage it for you. And this is where it can become a little bit expensive.
I hope this helps.

KeymasterHi,
Thank you for your feedback 🙂
There are some known issues between Jetpack and our plugins, but I wasn’t aware of a bug which could cause an error 500. I will investigate on my side as well and will let you know.
You might be interested in that article which explains how to avoid conflicts between Jetpack and our plugin (however, that article doesn’t mention Event Tickets):Â https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/tec-with-jetpack/

KeymasterHi Rachel,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I’d be happy to help you 🙂
First of all, I would like to know, how did you create the Additional Field for country: did you choose Text as a Field Type?
In order to achieve what you want, it would be better to Checkbox as a Field Type. Then, you would have to enter all the possible countries (one per line) as options.
I hope this helps. Please let me know if you need more clarification.

KeymasterHi Reine,

What do you mean by “the ability to hover on the mini-calendar”? Which behavior would you like when hovering on the mini-calendar? A change of colors, a popup containing the events details, or something else?

KeymasterHi Ruth,
You may try something like that, still in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS:
.tribe-events-list #tribe-events-photo-events .tribe-events-event-details .tribe-events-list-event-title { font-size: 1.5em; background-color: #000; padding: 3px 5px; } #tribe-events-content .tribe-events-list-event-title a { color: ffd700; }Would that be better?

KeymasterHi,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I’d be happy to help you 🙂
Normally, shortcodes work properly with the Divi theme. Did you create a page with the Divi Visual Builder? Did you insert the [tribe_events] shortcode in a “code” module?
There’s something I don’t understand: in your screenshot, I noticed it’s the Twenty Seventeen theme, and your shortcode doesn’t work either. So maybe the problem comes from something else. Can you make sure Events Calendar PRO is properly installed and activated? (you may re-install it, just to be sure). Maybe clear up your cache and clean up all your transients as well.
Please let me know how it goes.

KeymasterHi Lauren,
Thank you for the clarification.
Sure, let me know once you would have time to try the things I told you.
Have a nice day,

KeymasterHi Eli,
Thanks for your feedback!
Indeed Ultimate Member is difficult to operate with The Events Calendar. So I’m glad you managed to get the correct WordPress roles to access the Tribes Events which have tickets.
Here you’ll find a couple of articles that might be of help:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/admin-roles-and-permissions/
I hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any follow up questions 🙂

KeymasterHi Caroline,
I’m glad you managed to solve your problem regarding the list.
I’m going to close this thread then, but feel free to start a new one if you have further concerns 🙂

KeymasterHi Ruth,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I’d be happy to help you 🙂
How were those titles? Did they have a colored background? Some bigger fonts?
To increase the size of those titles, you may add the following css snippet in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS:
.tribe-events-list #tribe-events-photo-events .tribe-events-event-details .tribe-events-list-event-title { font-size: 1.5em; }Please tell me if you need something else/different.
I hope this helps.

KeymasterHi Martin,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I’d be happy to help you 🙂
It seems like there’s a conflict somewhere. I noticed you replied “yes” to the questions asking if you deactivated all other plugins and switched to the default theme. Did you have the same issue with other plugins deactivated and the default theme? (you may refer to this document about testing for conflicts if you have any doubt).
Also, could you please enable WP_DEBUG (https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress) and WP_DEBUG_LOG (https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress#WP_DEBUG_LOG) ? This will create a debug.log file inside the /wp-content directory.
After that, try reproducing the issue a few times, so that in case there is an error, it will be saved into the debug.log file. Please share that log file with us so we can see if any problem from there.
Cheers,
