    Matthew,

Sorry about that, I misread your original message! You are correct, the template I mentioned before is where you can add in the text.

Try adding it above this line:

    <table width="100%" class="tribe-events-tickets tribe-events-tickets-rsvp">

Let me know how it goes!

    Hi Jessie,

I’m sorry this isn’t working for you! I’d be happy to help you with this, but first will you please post this question in our support forums? We use the Pre-Sales forum to answer questions about the features of our premium plugins for those interested in purchasing them.

If you have not purchased one of our premium plugins, you can post in our community forum on wordpress.org, which we review weekly to check for bug reports. If you need more in-depth support, you will need to purchase a license.

Our knowledgebase is a great place to start looking for answers. You can also search our premium forums to see if another user has posted about a similar issue. If you’re having trouble with plugin functionality, the best place to start is by testing for a conflict.

    Thanks!

    Hi Richard,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

Unfortunately Pro does not support multiple start times in one day. However, I do have a screenshot here so that you can see how the edit screen looks for recurring events. I would also recommend taking a look at this article for more information on how recurring events work in Pro.

Sorry I don’t have a better answer for you, but please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching out!

There are a couple of ways you could achieve this, but it depends on where you’re trying to hide the weekday events. Are you trying to do this on the main Events page in a certain view, or somewhere else on your site?

If you could give me a little bit more context, I’ll be happy to help you out with this!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Matthew,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Your simplest solution here would be to add a top border with some CSS:

    table .tribe-events-tickets-rsvp tr {
    border-top: 1px solid #eee !important;
    }

If you have an area under Appearance > Customize where you can add custom CSS, you should add this there. Otherwise, you can add it to your style.css file, preferably in a child theme so that it is not lost with future theme updates.

You can also edit the template for the RSVP form by following the instructions in our themer’s guide. The file you’ll want to copy and edit is

    /wp-content/plugins/event-tickets/src/views/tickets/rsvp.php

Let me know if that works for you!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

in reply to: How to manage global stock for recurring events? #1292679

    Hi Russel,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Unfortunately Event Tickets Plus does not currently support recurring events. You can technically add the tickets to them, but it will be the same ticket on all of the events, which is why you were running into the issue with the global stock.

A workaround for you might be to create single events, use a post duplicator plugin like this one to copy the event, and then add on the tickets to each event (saving custom fieldsets that you can use on multiple tickets could help you save a little time here).

I’m sorry I don’t have a better answer for you…If there’s anything else I can do to help you work this out, please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Joe,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

You should be able to do this with The Events Calendar and Event Tickets (free RSVPs) or Event Tickets Plus (paid tickets). You can create 15 minute events at whatever interval you need (overlapping times is not an issue), and then add tickets to those events. Event Tickets Plus will also let you do things like collect additional information from attendees at registration.

If you are looking to segment a single event into slots that people can register for, really the only way to do that would be to create the event and then set up multiple tickets for each slot. For example, if you had a 1 hr event starting at 8am, you could add different tickets titled “8-8:15 am”, “8:15-8:30 am”, etc., and set a maximum number of available tickets for each “slot”.

Our refund policy does offer a full refund within 30 days of purchase if you’re not satisfied, so feel free to try everything out and see if it will work for you!

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Hi Michael,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Our themer’s guide has some instructions on customizing templates, including how to copy them into your child theme for editing.

To make this change, you’ll want to copy and edit this file:

    /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/list/single-event.php

There you will see the title, meta, image, and content, and you can copy and paste those sections to rearrange them into the layout you’re looking for (you may need to tweak the CSS a little bit to get it exactly right).

Let me know how that goes!

    Hi Varun,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

You are correct that the QR functionality you are describing would involve a bit of php customization. Scanning a QR code on a ticket marks it as “checked in” – there isn’t an out of the box way to set the number of scans allowed per ticket. If you’d like to give it a shot, we do have a great themer’s guide with lots of info on customizing our plugins.

By purchasing our premium plugins, you will also get access to our premium support forums. We are not currently able to do customizations, but we are definitely there to answer questions and help point you in the right direction!

Regarding allowing users to buy and book sessions…I’m not sure exactly what you mean by sessions, but how events and ticketing works is that events are created, tickets can be added to them, and then users can go to those events on your site and buy tickets for them. Unfortunately, there isn’t a way for users to buy a ticket and then schedule the dates that they want to use them on.

If you are thinking of using Events Calendar Pro’s recurring events functionality to create the “package” of sessions, be aware that Event Tickets Plus does not currently support recurring tickets. You can technically add them to recurring events, but it will be the same ticket on each event in the series (so if a user added a ticket from 2 different dates in a series, they would get 1 ticket in their cart with a quantity of 2). However, it sounds like that may be what you are looking for here in order to get the “package” functionality.

I hope that clears up how Events Calendar Pro and Event Tickets Plus work together, but please just let me know if you have any more questions!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Faustina,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

Events Calendar Pro will let you add calendars to different pages throughout your site via widgets and shortcodes. We do not have any official integration with Unbounce and I am not very familiar with that plugin, but so long as you are able to add shortcodes to the page, our calendars should work on them. Regarding your question about 2 different sites – as long as the landing page is on the same site, you should be fine, but if it’s on another domain, you may run into problems.

Our refund policy entitles you to a full refund within 30 days of purchase, so feel free to try it out and see if it will work for you!

Please let me know if you have any more questions!

    Thanks,

    Hi Steph,

Thanks for reaching out! Sorry for the delayed response – our forums have been a bit busier than usual lately.

Unfortunately we don’t have an option like this out of the box. We do have an extension that will allow you to change the sort order of events displayed in the main loop, but adding an option to only show featured events would require a bit of code customization. While we are currently unable to do code customizations, we do have a themer’s guide with some great info to help get you started if you’d like to give it a shot! We’re also here to answer questions and help point you in the right direction if you get stuck.

We also have a list of developers we can recommend to you if you’d like to get help with the code.

I wish I had a better answer for you, but I hope this is helpful! Please let me know if you have any more questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Carolyn,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Our free Event Tickets plugin will let you accept RSVPs (unpaid) for events, but if you want to sell tickets, you will need Event Tickets Plus. With either, you can go to the event and click the “Attendees” link to see the total number of people attending as well as all of the reservations.

As far as sending the total number to the front desk, you do have the option to export the attendee list to a CSV file and send it to them manually. To email this information to them automatically however would require a bit of customization. While we are currently not able to offer customizations, I would recommend taking a look at our themer’s guide, which has some great info on customizing our plugins. We are here to help answer questions and point you in the right direction if you’d like to give it a shot!

Does this answer your question? Please let me know if I can help with anything else!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Janou,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

Yes, you can do this using Event Aggregator. As long as the page/group or the individual events are public, all you need to import is the URL. You will need our free plugin The Events Calendar to use Event Aggregator, but it works with our premium version Events Calendar Pro as well!

If you have any other questions, please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer
