KeymasterHi William,
Thanks for sharing the link! This issue has to do with a conflict with WordPress 4.8.2, but we recently released a hot fix followed by a maintenance release (which makes the current version of The Events Calendar 4.5.13) that seems to have resolved the issue for most users.
Regarding the caching, I was referring to caching being done on the site level as opposed to the browser – sometimes this can cause changes to not be visible right away. Sorry for the confusion there!
Can you try updating and see if this resolves the issue for you? If not, please go ahead and open up a new thread (you can reference this one when you do so), and we’ll be happy to help you over there!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Pablo,
Which shortcodes would you like to modify? I would recommend taking a look at this article on widget shortcodes and this one on displaying full calendar views with shortcodes. If you want to make more involved changes, our themer’s guide is the place to start!
The plugins should use the same language that your site is set to. This article has some more information on how translations work with our plugins. Please let me know if you run into any issues!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Ruta,
I’m sorry to hear that updating didn’t work for you! Do you have any caching running on your site (such as on your server or via a plugin)? If so, can you try clearing it out and see if that resolves the issue?
If not, can you please send me a link to your events page so that I can take a look?
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi John,
I’m sorry for the delayed response here, but you should be alright running 4.8.2 with the most current versions – we did release a hot fix for this issue with The Events Calendar (4.5.12.3), as well as a maintenance release shortly after (TEC 4.5.13). Can you try updating everything in a test site just to make sure this resolves the issue? If you don’t have one already, WP Staging will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.
Regarding the versions getting out of whack, updating them altogether is definitely preferred, as running an older version of Pro with new versions of TEC can occasionally cause problems. I’m not currently aware of any issues between Pro 4.4.5 and TEC 4.5.12.3/4.5.13, but that doesn’t necessarily mean there aren’t any. However, Pro is currently at 4.4.17, so I would recommend updating it as well along with TEC.
Let me know how that works for you!
Thanks,
Jennifer

Lo siento por este problema, es por un conflicto con WordPress 4.8.2. Pero nosotros ya hemos lanzado un arreglo – por favor actualice The Events Calendar a versión 4.5.13. Esto debería arreglar el problema.

KeymasterHi Sam,
You are correct that the actual date they clicked on would not show up on the ticket – there is actually no way to tell which dates they clicked on to purchase the ticket (for a single ticket on a recurring event).
However, you could add multiple tickets to the series, one for each date in the series. So for example, if you had a course at one location happening on October 10th, November 10th, and December 10th, you could create the event on October 10th and then set it to recur on November 10th and December 10th. You could then create three tickets on the series, one for each date (and name the tickets accordingly – General Admission for October 10th, General Admission for November 10th, and General Admission for December 10th). Now, when your users click on any of these three events on your calendar, they will see all three tickets show up. In this case, they would be able to add the correct ticket to their cart, and you would be able to distinguish between multiple dates.
If you have a only a few dates in each series, then this method might be your best bet. Otherwise, I think you would be better off creating individual events (one for each course date) instead of recurring events.
Hopefully that doesn’t create more confusion, but please do let me know if you have any more questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Kathi,
I don’t think all of the code you pasted in came through (posting code in WordPress can be a bit of a pain sometimes). One thing to note is that you would want to remove the opening and closing php tags ( <?php and ?> ) if you are placing it within another php block. But, I went ahead and added it into the template for you, so you can replace the entire template with this one. That should add the message directly under the price (see screenshot).
Let me know how that works for you!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Alexander,
You should be alright with php 7, but I did notice that you are running slightly older versions of Event Tickets, Event Tickets Plus, and The Events Calendar…could you try updating to the most current versions and see if that solves the issue? The current versions are:
Event Tickets: 4.5.6
Event Tickets Plus: 4.5.5
The Events Calendar: 4.5.13
If you don’t see a prompt to update under the Plugins section of your Dashboard, you can do so manually by following these instructions. Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Mathew,
Thanks for pointing this out and sharing that link!
Susan, I’d also like to point out that you can add this as a feature request over in our Feature Ideas Forum, which is what we use to gauge user interest in new features and help guide future development efforts. I know there have been other users in the past who have asked about this, so it would definitely be worthwhile to submit it as an official request.
If you have any questions, please let me know!
Thanks,
Jennifer
