KeymasterHi Mike,
Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!
This is definitely possible with Events Calendar PRO. You can import your additional fields via CSV. The following examples will help to point you in the right direction:

Let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Brenda,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
In addition, can you provide me with the URL that you are trying to import, so that I can do some testing on my end?
Also, can you enable and check the Event Log under Events < Help to see if you see anything unusual?
Right under that is your Event Aggregator Status. Can you take a screenshot of what you see there?
Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterThanks so much for reaching out!
What this means is that recurring events can be imported, but they will not remain as recurring events, but rather separate events once they are imported.
You can import via CSV and create a recurring option there. The following can provide you with some examples on how to do that:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/csv-files-options-and-examples/
Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,

KeymasterWelcome and thanks so much for reaching out!
I’d love to assist you with all of your issues and get you started using our plugins on your site!
I don’t see where the tickets are available on the products?
To start off, you may be interested in our New User Primer, which can get you started on adding tickets. In general, you will need to enable certain post types that can have tickets under Events Settings < Tickets. From there, you will be able to see tickets on your posts, pages, or whichever else you choose.
So I want to remove the quantity field as a required selection and just default to 1
You can change the default quantity using the following snippet from WooCommerce:
https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/adjust-the-quantity-input-values/
If you’d like to further customize our products, I’d recommend starting off by taking a look at our Themer’s Guide, which can show you which templates can be edited and copied in order to achieve the results that you are looking for.
I also really like this blog post (not by us), which gives you a few more options for how to customize our templates.
I hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Julie,
I apologize for the confusion; You will need to use the full function at the bottom of the article I linked to in order to get that code to work.
Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,

KeymasterI’m sorry to hear you are experiencing this problem.
Unfortunately, I could reproduce the same issue on my end. I have logged a bug report for this so it can be addressed in one of our next maintenance releases of our plugins.
I will set this thread’s status as “Pending fix” and link it to the report. This way, we will notify you once a fix is released.
We apologize for the inconvenience and we appreciate your patience while we work on this.
Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Rodolfo,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Just to clarify, are you looking exclude the event description from the import?
If so, you can do this by exporting your events to CSV, and then remove the event description there, and then import the event.
You can read more about CSV import examples here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/csv-files-options-and-examples/
Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Ron,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
I’m sorry to hear that one of your Eventbrite imports is not working.
As a first step, could you please flush your transients using a plugin like Transients Manager, and then try re-importing the event?
Can you also provide me with the event that you are having issues with?
Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Julie,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
You can alter the wording of any string using the following tutorial and snippet as your guide:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/change-the-wording-of-any-bit-of-text-or-string/
Let me know how that goes!

KeymasterHi Timothy,
We do not have exact plans on if/when this feature will be added to our plugin in the future.
You can also vote on this idea in our Feature Requests, as we tend to implement ideas based on customer feedback, so your input is greatly appreciated:
As far as customizing the start date, unfortunately that is beyond the scope of support that we can provide, as per our Support Policy.
If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/
Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Sara,
I’m glad to hear that this seemed to work for you. Changing this setting does mean that events will not be re-imported when changes are made to your Google Calendar however.
You can read more about your Event Update Authority options in detail here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/event-aggregator-import-settings/#update-authority
In addition, this issue should have no bearing on your other issue.
Please let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Timothy,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
You can achieve the functionality that you are describing by adding the following snippet to your theme’s functions.php file:

Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,
