Eventbrite import with image and theme integration

Hello,

I’m trying to evaluate whether Event Aggregator is worth the cost before purchase. We already have Events Calendar PRO. Our scenarios are as following:

• Import events from Eventbrite, e.g. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/center-cherishing-tickets-47623102983. Looks like this is doable with the Event Aggregator but can it import the Eventbrite image as the featured image in WordPress? This is needed for the next point…
• Use the Event List widget to generate the “Upcoming events” on our new home page dynamically from the latest events. This is using the The7 theme. I am guessing the basics doable with some customization (I’m comfortable with some HTML/PHP updates if needed as long as we can still take updates). However, the feature image is not in the details list on that reference. Is it available? It is needed to generate the tiles on the Upcoming Events part of the page.
• We will have other pages with similar events listings based on the category of event (tags in Eventbrite). I saw that the Event List widget can take a category as a filter, but can it take multiple categories? We have different lists that we’d like to generate and some of them are combinations of multiple categories.

Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!

With Eventbrite Tickets, you can import all of your Evenbrite events, either from a URL or from your Eventbrite account.  The featured image does in fact get imported as the featured image on your site.

From there, you can definitely add the Event List widget to your homepage and add new events there.

You can also use multiple categories with the shortcode you mentioned by separating the categories with a comma, like this:

[tribe_events_list category="arts, fishing"]
