KeymasterHi Steven,
Try changing this part:
'Upcoming %s' => 'Events'Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,

April 9, 2018 at 5:57 am in reply to: Only single organizer imported for Facebook events with multiple hosts #1500396Jaime Marchwinski
KeymasterI’m sorry to hear that the update did not resolve this issue for you. I tried importing the the URL that you provided and a new organizer was created on my end. Can you take some screenshots of what you are seeing, including where you are seeing the event being imported without an organizer?
Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Brett,
I’m glad to hear that everything is working as expected now!
As far as your previous events go, unfortunately the only want to correct the events would be to recreate them. You can try duplicating the events with the help of a third-party plugin like Duplicate Post, and then moving the tickets via the following tutorial:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-tickets/
Before doing any of this, I’d also recommend creating a backup of your site, just in case.
Let me know how that goes and if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi David,
Let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Also, can you please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see?
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterThanks for providing me with that information.
Do you have List View enabled under Events Settings < Display? I’m not seeing it listed in your system information, which is why I ask. If not, can you try enabling it and see if that makes a difference?
Also, can you change your default view to List View under Events Settings < Display? It looks like it is currently set to Photo View.
Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterThe best way to utilize the refine by keyword functionality would be to alter the event titles and descriptions for the events that you want to import, as that is what the keyword search is pulled from.
Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Ana,
Thanks for getting that information to me. It looks like your Events Slug and Single Event Slug are the same thing. Can you try changing one of them, perhaps having the plural version for the Events Slug and singular version for the Single Event Slug.
You can do this by going to Events Settings < General and Save Changes.
If that doesn’t resolve the issue, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.

KeymasterHi Nyaki,
I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue with our plugin.
Can you please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see?
Also, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:1. A conflict with another plugin
2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.

KeymasterHi Joelle,
Thanks for providing me with that information.
I see that all of those events are recurring events. Does this only happen with recurring events? Do you have recurring events that do show up in month view?
Can you take a screenshot of what that event looks like in the backend, so that I can try to replicate things on my end?
Can you also please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see?
Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Sarah,
As a first step, you can try switching to a default WordPress theme, like ‘Twentyseventeen’ and see if the map appears the same way there. This way, you will be able to know if the theme is causing the issue.
Let me know how that goes and if you have any other questions along the way!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Steven,
Instead of adding another plugin, you can try adding and modifying the snippet provided in the following article to change the wording of any string:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/change-the-wording-of-any-bit-of-text-or-string/
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime
