ParticipantWhen I view my calendar view I see all of my various events (imported and my manually added recurring event: 1 Million Cups).
However when I view list view, all I see are my recurring 1 Million Cups Events.
Previously the list view would show all of my events (imported and recurring). Not sure why this is happening, but it needs to be resolved.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
I am not deactivating other plugins or reverting my theme….but this should not matter. As mentioned this worked appropriately previously
Let me know what I need to do to revise.
Thanks,
David

KeymasterHi David,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
As a first step, can you update all of your Events Calendar related plugins and let me know if that helps resolve the issue?
In addition, can you provide me with the URL that you are trying to import, so that I can do some testing on my end?
Also, can you enable and check the Event Log under Events < Help to see if you see anything unusual? Right under that is your Event Aggregator Status. Can you take a screenshot of what you see there?
Let me know if anything else comes up in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantI updated the plugins (regular and pro) and the issue is still occurring. You can see for yourself…
Visit: https://www.orlandoentrepreneurs.org/events/ see there are other events besides 1 Million Cups (scheduled recurring event) in the calendar view.
Then view https://www.orlandoentrepreneurs.org/events/list/
Only 1 Million Cups shows not the imported events.
This was especially visible last month, we successfully imported probably over 30 events. Then one day the list view stopped working and only showing 1 Million Cups. Reminder, 1 Million Cups is the only recurring event I have set up.
No error log shows.
Please provide other insights to fix. This is annoying that it is buggy and stopped working. I have a HUGE meeting around 3 tomorrow and ideally would like this resolved by then.

KeymasterHi David,
It actually looks like this is working if you advance to the second page and then page to the first page here: https://www.orlandoentrepreneurs.org/events/list/
As a first troubleshooting step, can you try flushing your permalinks by going to Settings < Permalinks and Save Changes. You will want to clear your browser and site cache as well after doing this.
You may also want to take a look at the following article:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/permalinks-best-practices/
If that doesn’t resolve the issue, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:1. A conflict with another plugin
2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
1. Make a backup of your database
2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantIt’s not a permalink issue.
The import events are not showing up on list view only the recurring one (1
Million Cups). The list view only shows a few events for Apirl and all are the recurring
events. Look on the calendar view and you’ll see this is not correct.April 5, 2018 at 6:55 am #1497369Jaime Marchwinski
KeymasterHi David,
Other events do appear in List View if you advanced to page 2 and then back to page 1, including non-recurring events.
In any case, can you provide me with the URL that you are importing, so that I can run some tests on my end?
Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantHow come the scheduled events show when you advance to page two then back to page one on list view?
They used to show in general and it is very clear that they are actually importing because they display in the calendar and as you pointed out when you go back to first page from second.
Why would they not show up when simply clicking list view like they did before?
I have lots of events scheduled to import (see attached). One example is this: https://www.facebook.com/pg/catalystspaces/events/
Again, the importing isn’t the problem. the list view just got buggy recently and doesn’t display as it should. It only shows the recurring event when clicking list view.

ParticipantI’m not going to change the theme as we are getting traffic and also don’t want to risk messing up the site, which happened when another plugin provider advised us of that previously.
I see the different events (from the import) show when advancing to page two and again when clicking back to page 1.
Why in the world would they not show initially? They show properly on the calendar view.
Surely this is an issue that has been encountered before.
Do I need to delete the one recurring event that is the only one showing on list view and re-add it?
This is definitely an inconvenience. When I pay for an enhancement I expect it to work properly.

ParticipantNote – the day view shows different events.
The monthly list view does not until advancing to a different page

KeymasterHi David,
Thank you for your feedback. I’m not sure why you are seeing this issue, as it’s not something that I can replicate on my end.
Another option would be for you to install the third-party plugin, Health Check, which can mimic a bare WordPress install while your site visitors still see your site the way that it normally appears.
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime
