ModeratorHey Robin,
My Sunday wasn’t too bad, but let’s see if we can make Monday a bit better for you. Have you tried contacting your hosting company to see if they have a backup or backups that contain the missing events? This has saved me many times in the past!
Unfortunately there isn’t much we can do help here other than recommend automatic, scheduled backups and always checking in on your site to make sure everything is up-to-date and working as designed.
I know this isn’t the most ideal answer, but as previously mentioned, we don’t have a widespread problem of this occurring. Let me know what you find out from the hosting company and I hope it turns out positive.
Thank you for understanding and my sincerest apologies I can’t do anything more to help. Best of luck and have a good rest of your day.

ModeratorHey Thomas,
That is definitely a great idea, but we don’t have any available options or snippets that can achieve that sort of customization at this time. Our UserVoice Feature Ideas is a great place to voice your idea and hopefully it gets added into an upcoming feature release.
We also have a list of customizers that can help achieve what you’ve described. Best of luck with the customizations and thanks for choosing us for your calendar & ticketing needs.
Cheers!

ModeratorHey Paul,
Thank you for reaching out and using us for your calendar needs! There are a few ways you can go about hiding/removing certain fields. The first option is our Knowledgebase article titled ‘Required fields for events submission form’.
The second option would be via a template override as explained in our Themer’s Guide. The file you’ll need to overwrite is /the-events-calendar-community-events/src/views/community/edit-event.php.
I hope this answer helps and please let me know if you have any more questions or comments. Have a great rest of your weekend.
Cheers!

ModeratorHello, Allan!
Thank you for reaching out 🙂
Our Facebook Events plugin doesn’t allow for importing from Facebook groups… yet! But it is logged as a planned feature that will come out in an upcoming release. I can’t give you a solid date on when that will be, but I imagine by the end of the year.
I hope this sufficiently answers your question and please feel free to reply back with any more questions or comments you might have. Enjoy the remainder of your weekend and thanks again.
Cheers!

ModeratorHey Andre,
Welcome back 🙂
Thank you for providing the screenshot. Is there any way you can confirm whether or not the issue still occurs after reviewing our Testing for conflicts guide? Also, please send over your System Information as a private reply.
Thanks again and have a good rest of the weekend.

ModeratorHey Jessica,
Thank you for posting and sorry to hear about the troubles. Before I get to testing, can you test to see if the issue still occurs after reviewing our Testing for conflicts guide? Let me know and we’ll continue troubleshooting.
Have a wonderful rest of your Sunday and thanks for choosing us for your event calendar needs.

ModeratorHi and welcome back,
I’m not really sure where to go from here seeing I’m unable to reproduce the issue and we don’t have any logged bugs confirming anything resembling your issue. What is the ‘post_status’ set to for all the events not displaying? You may need to look into our list of customizers if I’m unable to confirm it’s on our end.
Thanks for keeping me updated and have a good rest of your Sunday.

ModeratorHey Simon,
Thank you for the response. I’m at a bit of a loss as to where the problem is coming from. Were the events in August added manually or do you import them via CSV files? Does the calendar still get caught up when you temporarily set all the events in August to ‘Draft’ status?
This conflict might be out of the realm we’re able to realistically able to cover per Forum Rules, so you might need to look into hiring a developer to help out. We have a list of customizers that can assist.
Have a good Sunday and thanks for working with me on the issue.

ModeratorHey Hugh,
Welcome back and thank you for sending over the screenshots. Are you able to temporarily revert back to the default WP theme and deactivate all plugins other than ours as outlined in our Testing for conflicts guide, then create another event with the same settings? Another good idea would be to create yet another test event with the same time and date settings, but before you do, change the ‘End of day cutoff’ setting to 2:00 am or 3:00 am.
Let me know how it all goes and have a good rest of your Sunday!

ModeratorHey Jared,
To clarify, are you asking if their is a way to combine the Filterbar Plugin into the Search bar included with The Events Calendar? We don’t have a built-in feature way to do that at this time, but it’s an idea worth mentioning via our UserVoice Feature Ideas.
If you need to hire a developer, we’ve got a list of customizers that could help out.
I hope this answers your question and have a good rest of the weekend!

ModeratorHey Hugh,
Sorry the thread was closed before you were able to answer. It looks like Josh did respond the following day, but these things happen :-/
Can you send over a screenshot of the ‘Time & Date’ settings for one of the events showing on the calendar after it’s ended? Also, what do you have for your ‘End of day cutoff’ setting found under Events > Settings > General? (see screenshot below)

Keep me updated and we’ll get this figured out. Have a good weekend and thanks for choosing PRO 🙂

ModeratorHi and welcome back,
Thank you for being so descriptive in your initial post 🙂
Can you check to see if the issues still occur after reviewing our Testing for conflicts guide and report back with your findings?
Once we rule out a theme/plugin conflict, I’d be happy to test the issue myself on my local environment. Thanks again and enjoy the weekend!

ModeratorWelcome back,
Heck yea! Glad to hear it’s working for the time being. I’ll close this thread out but feel free to open a new one if you need anymore assistance. Have a great weekend!
