ParticipantI submitted this once here already (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/recurring-events-showing-on-calendar-1-day-after-end/#post-1137194), but no one got back to me with anything and it was closed so I can’t follow up there. Can I get a follow up on this please? Thanks.

ModeratorHey Hugh,
Sorry the thread was closed before you were able to answer. It looks like Josh did respond the following day, but these things happen :-/
Can you send over a screenshot of the ‘Time & Date’ settings for one of the events showing on the calendar after it’s ended? Also, what do you have for your ‘End of day cutoff’ setting found under Events > Settings > General? (see screenshot below)

Keep me updated and we’ll get this figured out. Have a good weekend and thanks for choosing PRO 🙂

ParticipantArgh, you know what, I did see his response, but somehow missed the part about him asking for a screen shot. My bad.
I have enclosed screen shots of a 4th of july event that was scheduled to end on the 4th, but shows on the 5th.

ModeratorHey Hugh,
Welcome back and thank you for sending over the screenshots. Are you able to temporarily revert back to the default WP theme and deactivate all plugins other than ours as outlined in our Testing for conflicts guide, then create another event with the same settings? Another good idea would be to create yet another test event with the same time and date settings, but before you do, change the ‘End of day cutoff’ setting to 2:00 am or 3:00 am.
Let me know how it all goes and have a good rest of your Sunday!

ParticipantI can’t do this on the live site, but I’ve been trying to work with it on
the staging site I have set up, and I’m having more problems. The staging site is setup exactly as the live site, was copied down as a
duplicate, all plugins and theme files are the same. When trying to add an event to mimic the live site on the staging site, I
get the following error:Fatal error: Call to undefined method
Tribe__Events__Main::rebuild_known_range() in
/nfs/c03/h06/mnt/167940/domains/discoverfamilyfun.nimbusstudios.com/html/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/Tribe/Recurrence/Queue_Processor.php
on line 169I don’t see this error on the live site, so I’m thoroughly confused by this.

ModeratorWelcome back,
Forgive me for not asking earlier, but can you provide your System Information as a private reply?
That will help out a lot, so keep me posted and we’ll go from there. Thanks and have a good day. Cheers!

ModeratorWelcome back,
Thank you for sharing the System Information with me. Before we get too far, let’s clarify which issue we’re working on…
The initial thread was that events are showing past when they’re supposed to end. Can you please let me know if this is still an issue? If so, does the behavior change when you change the ‘End of day cutoff’ setting as mentioned in my previous comment?
In response to the error mentioned in a comment previously made by you; can you please deactivate and delete The Events Calendar plugin and reinstall it manually? It’s always recommended to backup your database prior to doing this, though it shouldn’t delete any info from your database. Those errors were associated with a previous issue and have since been resolved.
Let me know the answers of both questions and have a great Tuesday.

ParticipantI changed the end of day cutoff to 1 AM, and my test post did appear to work this time, did not add the extra day. This still seems a little buggy to me however?
Also, in regards to deleting and reinstalling the plugins, the issue I have is the licenses are applied to my live site, so obviously I can’t also apply them to my dev/staging site, so I can’t update them there. Is there any way to get the ability to have both a live and dev/staging license for the plugins so I can keep the environments synced up?

ModeratorWelcome back,
Glad to hear the first issue has been addressed. I set up a test event with the exact recurrence rules provided by you, but everything went as expected. Unfortunately, I’m not sure where the breakdown is occurring for you.
Visit our ‘Moving your license keys‘ article to learn more on keeping your dev and live environment synced. Let me know if you’ve got any more questions and have a good day.
Cheers!

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
