ParticipantI have had an issue reported to me today which I am finding difficult to resolve. For some reason the month of August is not displaying and just sits with the timer spinning. We also have the calendar widget on the front screen which also hangs on August. All other months appear to work ok. I have tried to enable caching, and have installed the 4.2.2.1 fix (just in case). I am assuming that some event setup in August is causing this to happen, but I am not sure how to identify it. We have thousands of events! What is making it difficult also is the Start Date and End Date displayed in the Event menu from the Dashboard, do not match when the actual Start and End Dates are for the Event. Site is http://staffordshirespace.uk. Thanks in advance.

ModeratorHey Simon,
Thank you for reaching out. Do any errors display at the top of your screen when you set ‘WP_DEBUG’ to ‘true’ on your wp-config.php file? Please refer to our Testing for conflicts guide when doing so. If you see any errors, can you send them over? Can you also include your System Information as a private reply?
Thanks again and have a good day.

ModeratorHey Simon,
Thank you for getting back to me. Do those errors still occur when you have every other plugin other than ours deactivated and you’ve reverted back to the default theme as outlined in our Testing for conflicts guide? Reason I ask is because the errors displayed look like they’re coming from the Exec-PHP plugin rather than any of our plugins.
Try testing again but please refer to the Testing for conflicts guide before doing so and let me know the results. Thanks again and have a good weekend!

ParticipantI have deactivate all other plugins and set the theme back and can confirm that the August month still does not display. All other months are fine, so I am convinced that this is a conflicting event causing the calendar to not load. As I said it is difficult to isolate the problem event because the Event section in the Dashboard does not accurately display the correct event dates to match the event dates? Is there a way of getting a full list of all events and how the reoccurrence has been configured for them?
Thanks in advance.July 31, 2016 at 12:12 pm #1145939Hunter
ModeratorHey Simon,
Thank you for the response. I’m at a bit of a loss as to where the problem is coming from. Were the events in August added manually or do you import them via CSV files? Does the calendar still get caught up when you temporarily set all the events in August to ‘Draft’ status?
This conflict might be out of the realm we’re able to realistically able to cover per Forum Rules, so you might need to look into hiring a developer to help out. We have a list of customizers that can assist.
Have a good Sunday and thanks for working with me on the issue.

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
