    Hello and thank you for reaching out!

    If you add a custom field under Events > Additional Fields, it should display on the Community Events submit event form. More info on PRO Additional Fieds can be found here.

    Please let me know if this helps and if you have any additional questions. Thanks again and have a wonderful day. Cheers!

    Hello,

    Thank you for reaching out. I have unfortunately never worked with the OptimizePress theme, so I’m not really sure why the events aren’t displaying on your default “Events” page. Can you confirm it is in fact the theme rather than a conflict by reviewing our Testing for conflicts guide? Have you read through our New User Primer to see if it’s a simple setting? I’d also try flushing your permalinks by visiting Settings > Permalinks and hit the ‘Save Changes‘ button.

    I would also recommend reaching out to the theme author to see if they have any advice on the matter as I’m unable to find a solution at this time. As much as we’d like, we are unfortunately unable to provide assistance regarding theme conflicts. (see What support is provided for license holders?)

    Thanks again and have a great Tuesday. Cheers!

    Hello,

    The best way I can think to do this would be to upload the featured images, then identify the post id’s. From there, you’d update the wp_postmeta field (_thumbnail_id – without the opening and closing parenthesis) with the featured image post id’s. Please let me know if this helps and best of luck! If you’d like to see a better way to go about this in the future, I invite you to visit our UserVoice Feature Ideas and recommend it as a feature you’d like to see.

    Again, best of luck and thank you for reaching out. Cheers!

    Hello,

    What you end up purchasing should depend on your needs, so I invite you to review each product page linked above to see which products are right for you. You do not need to purchase both plugins to gain the ability to import events from Facebook, you only need to purchase the Facebook Events plugin.

    The widgets are composed of HTML elements as most of WordPress is, but you cannot input HTML elements in them; they have their own settings. More info can be found below:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/configuring-the-list-widget/

    Events Calendar Widget Settings

    For assistance completing your purchase, please complete the form on our Contact page and we’d be happy to help get it taken care of.

    Thanks again and take care. Cheers!

    Hello 🙂

    Thank you for your patience while we addressed your thread. Recurring events should display if you have the latitude and longitude entered for venues. Please visit Events > Settings and look for ‘Fix geolocation data‘ section. If there is a ‘Fix venues data‘ button, go ahead and click it. Recurring events should now display on the map view. If you select the ‘Recurring event instances‘ box (also under Events > Settings), only the first event in the series will display.

    I hope this clarifies how everything works and please let me know if you have any more questions or need further clarification. Thanks and take care!

    Hello Heather 🙂

    Thank you for reaching out to our Pre-Sales Channel.

    Absolutely! With the free version of The Events Calendar, available for download here, you’re able to add events manually. From there, you can purchase the Facebook Events plugin to start importing events from Facebook into your WordPress site.

    I hope this answers your question and please let me know if you have any additional questions. Thanks again and have a great week. Cheers!

    Hello,

    Thank you for your purchase and compliments 🙂

    At this time, we don’t have any shortcode functionality that allows embeddable maps on pages/posts. Our PRO Widget Shortcodes article explains everything currently available.

    The best bet would be to visit our UserVoice Feature Ideas and see if it’s been submitted as a feature request. If not, feel free to do so.

    Thanks again and take care. Cheers!

    Hi and welcome 🙂

    Can you try to reimport, this time with only the default WP theme and our plugins active as outlined in our Testing for conflicts guide? Please include your System Information as a private reply too. Thanks and have a great Monday.

    Cheers!

    Hi and welcome 🙂

    Sorry to hear about the strange behaviors! They don’t sound like anything I’m seeing on our logged bug reports, so I’m not really sure how this happened. To clarify, are the event categories gone completely from Events > Categories, or have some event categories been removed from published events?

    Have you reviewed our Testing for conflicts guide to see if you can narrow down a source of conflict? Please do so and let me know the results. That will also most likely help access the System Information so you can share with us.

    Thank you for your patience while we got to your thread and have a great rest of your Monday. Take care!

    Hi and thank you for posting,

    I’m not seeing any new logged bug reports resembling what you’ve described, so in order to identify whether it is in fact a bug, would you please review our Testing for conflicts guide and reply back with your findings?

    It is much appreciated and thanks again. Cheers!

    Hi and welcome,

    I’d be happy to test the issue myself, but before doing so, can you please review our Testing for conflicts guide and reply back with your findings? It would also be helpful if you could include your System Information as a private reply.

    Thank you and have a great Monday. Cheers!

    Hey Ally,

    Welcome back! Please try the following CSS:

    #event_datepickers .tribe-community-event-info > tbody > tr:nth-last-child(1) {
    display: none;
    }

    If that doesn’t work, please review our Themer’s Guide. It explains the process of overwriting templates to your liking.

    The file you’ll need to overwrite is: the-events-calendar-community-events/src/view/community/modules/datepicker.php

    The lines you’ll need to remove/comment out are: 91-102

    Don’t forget to save it with the following structure to avoid losing customizations: [your-theme]/tribe-events/community/modules/datepickers.php

    Let me know how it goes. Cheers!

    Welcome back!

    Thank you for the response. In order to import events from Facebook, you would need to purchase the Facebook Events plugin. Events Calendar PRO simply adds functionality to the free version of our calendar, such as Recurring Events and Map view.

    Our plugin is compatible with WPML, so you would be able to translate your calendar to French with ease. We are also making strides to improve how our plugin works with different languages 🙂

    Any design is possible by following our Themer’s Guide. It’s a great resource on explaining how to create and save custom templates.

    Have a great rest of your Monday and please let me know if you have any more questions. Take care and thanks again!
