ParticipantHey Robert,
CSV importing is included for free out-of-the-box with The Events Calendar.
You ask, “Do I need to remove the titles?” — can you please clarify what you’re referring to here? Upload the CSV to a site like cloudup.com and share a link to it, for example — I’ll take a closer look at it and see what you mean by removing the titles.
To be clear, however, you shouldn’t need to remove anything from your CSV, because you chose what columns to map event data to. So if you have a column of data you don’t want to import, you can just omit that column from imports by not selecting it…
I hope this helps!

ParticipantSorry to hear this, Yan!
These forums here our are “Pre-Sales Questions” forums, so we will not be able to provide technical support here.
With this in mind, I would recommend the following things:
1. Log into your account on this site which has the premium license.
2. Post your question in a Premium Support forum so that we can best assist you.
3. In that thread, can you post your system information? Here’s how to do that → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/ That will give us a head start on investigating some things that could be a factor here.
4. In that thread, can you post some event IDs from Facebook you’re trying to import? Or Facebook page IDs, whatever you prefer — this will just help us test your exact imports.
Thank you!

ParticipantThanks for reaching out, Mark! I’ll address of your specifications in turn:
1) Show events in a list in alphabetical order
This is unfortunately not possible without custom coding. 🙁
2) On the same page show a calendar on the same page and when someone clicks the date it takes the user direct to the event. (There is just ever one event per date)
I’m not quite sure what you mean here. Can you clarify what “On the same page show a calendar on the same page” means? I think what you’re describing is indeed a set of functionality our plugins support. Check out our demo site at wpshinding.com/events to see a working events page—click events there and see if things behave like you hope.
3) On the same page show a google map with a custom pin and when the pin is clicked it takes you to the event. (No popup)
I believe Events Calendar Pro’s “Map View” is what you’re looking for here—it’s indeed a clickable Google Map where each Map Pin is an event (as long as the event has a location, of course).
Check out our demo site’s version of the Map View to see if it’s akin to what you’re describing → http://wpshindig.com/events/map/
Let me know if this information helps, Mark, and any other questions you might have! 😀

Participant☝️ Now, while everything above is true and we will not be able to provide technical support here, given that your site is out-of-action because of these issues, I wanted to establish a couple of things to try and help before I close this thread
1. This issue is not something other users are reporting, so there may be something unique and specific to your site.
2. With this in mind, please remove The Events Calendar from your site. You mention that you can’t access the site’s wp-admin, so instead of doing it that way, you can remove the files via FTP. If you’re not familiar with this, contact your web host’s support team and request them to remove those files.
3. Once those files are removed, ensure your site’s version of WordPress is updated to the most recent version, which is 4.7.
4. Once you’ve updated WordPress, go to wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar and download a fresh copy of The Events Calendar.
5. Install this fresh copy on your site and see if anything improves.
Cheers!

ParticipantHi there,
Thank you for reaching out. These forums here are our “Pre-sales Questions” forums, so we unfortunately cannot field technical support questions here.
It doesn’t currently appear that you have a premium license with us. If this is wrong, and you do have a premium license with us, then apologies for my misunderstanding!
However, in that case please log into the account on this site that has your premium license, and then post this question in a premium support forum.
If you indeed do not have a premium license, then please post your question in our free support forums here → http://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar
We check those forums a bit more than once per week, so hopefully we will be able to get to your question there.
Thank you,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantThanks for reaching out, Justin—and for your interest in our software!
You’re indeed correct that Events Calendar Pro and Event Aggregator are separate plugins, with separate functionality, and are thus separately priced.
Buying an Events Calendar Pro license does not grant you a license to Event Aggregator, and vice versa—they’re sold independently of each other.
Does this address your main concerns, Justin? Let me know if so, and if there are any other questions I can try to help with.
Thanks!
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey John,
Thanks for reaching out!
What you’re describing is not currently possible, unfortunately—the public-facing calendar views are dictated by a combination of our plugins and your theme.
The admin-facing views are dictated entirely by WordPress itself, and so there’s unfortunately to modify these views without very extensive customization. 🙁
Does this help? Let me know if so, and let me know if there any other questions I can try to help with, too.
Cheers!

ParticipantHey Trevor,
Thanks for reaching out!
This will be possible in version 4.4 of The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro, which should be arriving publicly some time this week.
Until those versions of our plugins are available, though, it is not possible to use a custom map pin image.
Stay tuned to http://theeventscalendar.com/blog for updates about the release!
Cheers,

January 9, 2017 at 8:21 am in reply to: add to revolution slider post-based the venue shortcode #1215111George
ParticipantThanks for this screenshot, Yohanan! Those “shortcodes” like {{title}} and {{content}} are not something our plugins make, so for assistance with those shortcodes and how to use them, your best course of action is to contact the plugin or theme developer who made the software.
Our plugins have no special integration with this software. There is no {{venue}} code that our plugins create, for example.
One thing that might be useful for your needs is using the event post meta. Now, you cannot access things like the Venue Name from event post meta. 🙁 But you can access some stuff like the Event URL. So, something like this might work with those shortcodes in your screenshot:
{{meta:_EventURL}}
↑ This “_EventURL” meta tag refers to the Event URL meta on events. You can see all available event meta tags here → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wordpress-post-meta-data/
I hope this helps!

January 6, 2017 at 9:25 am in reply to: Very Big Issue buying different tickets simultaneously from one event #1214411George
ParticipantHey @Gergana,
I’m sorry to hear about these issues! I cannot recreate them, so here is what I would recommend doing as a step to test this out:
1. Activate a default theme like Twenty Twelve, Twenty Seventeen, etc.
2. Deactivate all plugins on your site except for only these specific plugins:
• The Events Calendar
• Event Tickets
• Event Tickets Plus
• WooCommerce3. Create a new test event with multiple ticket types.
4. Try “buying” different ticket types in a single order from this test event, just like you’ve been testing already.
☝️ In this specific set of steps, do you find the exact same issues?
Let us know what you find!

ParticipantHey Travis,
Thanks for reaching out.
To be clear, you would not need to have both a Multisite License and an Unlimited License. They serve different purposes, and based on your needs, a Multisite License may be more appropriate.
The details of the Multisite License are covered here ? https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/multisite-license/
In line with what the warning message on your License Keys page states, you need a Multisite License to “Network Activate” a plugin, individually activate the plugin on 11 or more sub-sites, or do automatic updates on any number of sub-sites.
So:
• If you want to “Network Activate” a plugin, individually activate the plugin on 11 or more sub-sites, or do automatic updates on any number of sub-sites, you would NOT need an Unlimited License and would only need a Multisite License.• If you want to individually activate the plugin on many sub-sites of a network, or many sub-sites on different networks, or some sites on a network and other sites that are non Multisite sites, then you would need a Unlimited License. Now, given our license system’s current limitations, you may see the sort of Multisite notice you currently see in the License Keys page, but this can be ignored (we’re working on improving the handling of this messaging!).
• You would not need both licenses, and if you decide that a Multisite License is sufficient for your needs, you can request a refund of your Unlimited License here ? https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/
Let me know if this is helpful!
Cheers,

ParticipantThanks for this Monty, and for your continued patience here. I have activated the child theme successfully now, but am not able to find any issues with Visual Composer. I am able to use Visual Composer successfully to modify any post type I try: posts, pages, and events, specifically.
Are there specific types which don’t work for you? If possible, any chance you could share a screenshot or screencast video demonstrating your specific issues?
I’m genuinely sorry for the continued back-and-forth here—I’m just trying to isolate and identify your specific problems so that we can best try to help out.
Thanks a ton for sticking with me here and working with us by providing all of these files and your system information — I’m determined to continue to help!
