ParticipantHi Donald,
The theme folder you’ve added, and the stylesheets you’ve added within it, unfortunately will not help here – you can remove those files if you’d like.
As for your specific issues, I checked out the “Resources” being loaded on http://sfciviccenter.org/events and didn’t notice any problematic amount of Tribe CSS files being loaded – it seemed like the required the plugin CSS was being loaded without issue, although there are many other plugins loading their own CSS too.
Can you clarify exactly what happened before and after updating? Were all your styles completely fine before updating, and then as soon as you activated 3.10, they broke like this?
Also, have you made any customizations to any Events Calendar-related CSS OR HTML anywhere on your site?
Thank you!

ParticipantHi Allyson,
Un-checking that option does not hide the fields related to it in the admin – it just prevents it from showing up on the front-end.
Are things successfully being hidden on the front-end? If so, then things are working correctly.
To hide those fields, you’d have to write some custom code. We don’t officially offer any support for that, but it’s a somewhat simple customization to make. It would involve writing both some PHP and some CSS. Are you comfortable with this? Let us know if so, we can share some code to help you hide these fields 🙂
Cheers!

ParticipantHey Marcin!
Thanks for your interest in helping to translate the plugin, and for reaching out to us here. We’ve made a new Polish translation for Events Calendar PRO, you can find it here → http://translations.theeventscalendar.com/projects/events-pro/pl/default

ParticipantHi @museumns,
Thank you for your interest in helping with translating our plugins! Unfortunately, we’re no longer using the original method for accepting or sharing translations via the Translations Forum. We have something much better now, so that more people can contribute and our translations can stay more consistently updated.
We’ve just launched a whole new process for translations and have two write-ups for it here:
And here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/adding-or-updating-a-translation/Two things to note are:
1 – You do not have to submit an entire translation, you can just submit translations for individual strings. Even if it’s just one string, or something like a spelling correction, it all helps!
2 – Your submitted strings will be saved as “suggestions”, and not immediately included in a translation file for export until an administrator approves them. This may seem like a limitation, but it just helps us ensure nobody comes along and deletes translations or adds spam or something to them. Your suggestions will be approved very promptly.
I hope the information here brings you up to speed on our new translations site – let us know if it does, or if you have any other questions or concerns! 🙂
Thank you!

ParticipantHey Paul,
While I’m glad most of your issues seem to be resolved, I’m sorry to hear about some of those remaining ones. They are odd ones that I cannot reproduce, and that we haven’t heard about from other customers, so it’s possible that for now there is something unique to your server or other aspects of your website that are leading to these issues.
You wrote this in your last post above:
My last question is I cant seem to make the new cost slider work? is there a tutorial on setting this feature up I may have overlooked.
Can you clarify exactly what you mean by “Cost slider”? I’m not sure what you mean, and just want to be sure I’m understanding the correct issue in full so we can help you out with it 🙂
Thank you! Especially for your patience with some of these bugs, it can be a trying thing to deal with a broken plugin and we appreciate your patience with us immensely.

ParticipantHey folks,
I’m sorry you’ve had this problem – is the rest of your site in Norwegian, and only things coming out of The Events Calendar are displaying in English?
Or is the entire site failing to accept the Norwegian translation?
We have a brand new “Translations” site here for all of our plugins → http://translations.theeventscalendar.com/projects/the-events-calendar
Unfortunately, it seems that for now Norwegian is only 1% translated.
If you want to learn more about this new translations site, and how to contribute, we’ve just launched a whole new process for translations and have two write-ups for it here:

ParticipantHey Xavi,
Thank you for your interest in translating!
We unfortunately don’t upgrade translator accounts to full admin accounts at this time, but you shouldn’t let the term “Suggestions” dismay you – it might not sound important, but “Suggestions” are actually basically just as good if you were an admin user, and submitted the strings directly. They just have to be approved by an admin, which we can do shortly if you’ve already posted a lot of suggested translations there.
That step may seem unnecessary or annoying, but we care about our translations and don’t want to risk someone coming along and either deleting them or posting spam or junk there.
Let us know if this helps clarify things, or any other thoughts or questions/concerns you may have.
Thank you!

ParticipantHi folks,
Sorry about the delay here. The 3.10 update did break some translations – this often happens with major updates, and though a bit of a pain in the short-term, in the long-term the changes we’ve made are for the better.
If you’re interested in fixing the current translations, we’ve just launched a whole new process for translations and have two write-ups about how to use the new process here:
