I created a new dutch tranlation (nl_NL .PO and .MO) for version 3.10.

This will solve issues like ‘View All Evenementen’, english strings or missing translations in front- and backend. Have fun with it, hope it works for you.

I uploaded a new version in which the ‘list view’ works.
The term ‘list’ is used in the URL AND is in the .PO/.MO…
That for itself I wouldn’t encourage, but hey, it all works now with the translation update.

    Hi Matthew,

Thank you for your interest in helping with translating our plugins! Unfortunately, we’re no longer using the original method for accepting or sharing translations via the Translations Forum. We have something much better now, so that more people can contribute and our translations can stay more consistently updated.

We’ve just launched a whole new process for translations and have two write-ups for it here:

Changing the Language on Your Calendar

    And here:
    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/adding-or-updating-a-translation/

    Two things to note are:

1 – You do not have to submit an entire translation, you can just submit translations for individual strings. Even if it’s just one string, or something like a spelling correction, it all helps!

2 – Your submitted strings will be saved as “suggestions”, and not immediately included in a translation file for export until an administrator approves them. This may seem like a limitation, but it just helps us ensure nobody comes along and deletes translations or adds spam or something to them. Your suggestions will be approved very promptly.

I hope the information here brings you up to speed on our new translations site – let us know if it does, or if you have any other questions or concerns! 🙂

    Thanks you!
    George

i downloaded and installed the .po and .mo from http://translations.theeventscalendar.com/projects/the-events-calendar/de/default but “Recurring Events” stays in english. When i open the .po file i dont find “Recurring Events” or “Recurring %s”

    Hey Darkey,

Sorry you’ve run into this problem – are you using the .mo and .po files for both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO? Or have you only loaded one of them so far? If so, then some strings will remain un-translated.

    Hey Darkey,

The strings will be approved as soon as possible by one of us on the support team. We are working through translations and bringing everything up-to-date as fast as possible.

    Thank you for your patience,
    George
