ParticipantHey @Andriy,
There unfortunately is no straightforward way of doing this with our plugins at this time 🙁
The only “API” we have is an API class with some methods that make it easy to get/update/delete/save events and venues and such – this class is in The Events Calendar plugin files at this location:
src/Tribe/API.phpThis does not generate a public API accessible via URL or anything, though.
To have events show up automatically on another site, you would unfortunately have to custom-code your own solution using RSS or JSON or something like that 🙁
I’m sorry @Andriy! Please let me know if I can help with anything else.
Thanks,

ParticipantHey Finn,
Thanks for reaching out!
A relocating of the bar may indeed be possible like you describe/illustrate.
However, it would take quite a bit of tinkering to implement this and to ensure that all functionality is preserved.
We cannot help with customizations and so you’d have to take the reins on implementing this and tinkering to ensure it works on your site – are you comfortable doing this?
While we cannot help with customizing, we do have a “Themer’s Guide” here which has many principles in it that should help you realize your desired customization → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
I hope this information helps!
Cheers,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey Bret,
Unfortunately, at this time there is not a way to collect the sort of “additional information” you list here with our plugins.
I’m sorry to disappoint! We’re working on implementing these features but it will likely take many more months before we have these features in our plugins at the earliest.
Sorry Bret! Please let me know if you have any other questions 🙂

ParticipantHey @josearistud,
I’m really sorry to hear about this.
I will investigate the issue with the “resent ticket” option.
For now, though, can you get things back to how they were, and then see if when a ticket order is placed the order inside WooCommerce is marked as “complete” or not?
If it not marked “complete”, does marking it “Complete” get the email to eventually send?
Thanks,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey Andy,
Support for recurring tickets is unfortunately very limited at this time, and while marginally better than it was in the past, it unfortunately is still not at the point to offer these specific features yet:
I offer transport tickets to customers that requires the ability for them to purchase a 1-day a week ticket (recurring every week), a 2-day, 3-day, etc. for a particular event with each ticket-type recurring.
I unfortunately do not have a specific ETA on when these features will arrive – sorry Andy!
Please let me know what you think and if there’s anything else I can help with.
Thank you,
GeorgeGeorge

ParticipantHey Edwin,
Sorry to hear about your brother, best of luck with your travels and things. I will definitely leave this thread open until then, just keep me posted on things when you return!
In the meantime, I will try to recreate the problems you describe because at this time I am still unable to do so.
Thank you!

ParticipantHey Simon,
Thanks for clarifying things.
In essence I want to be able to enable anyone to create an event and then edit the details of that event. I think this is covered by requiring users to register on the account and then they are able to edit an event subsequently. Is that correct? Is there a way to limit them to edit just the event they have created?
Yes, this is covered by that feature in the plugin.
Rather than get them to register again on this website I wondered if I should create an event for each of them and then invite them to edit it further. In other words can I confer on existing users the right to edit an edit – say by adding then s an organiser to that event? Or do they have to register as members first and then edit their event? Again, can I limit their ability to edit just their events not all? Thanks so much for your help.
Unfortunately the users would have to register as administrators anew on your site. Sorry to bear this news! If they are “subscriber” users and submit their events from front-end, then they will only be able to edit their events. If they are a higher user level like “Editor” or “Administrator”, though, they will be able to edit other events and other site content.
I hope this helps!

ParticipantGlad to hear about this, Kyle! You are right about there perhaps having been a conflict that is resolved now…
In any case, glad to hear this news. I will close this thread but come back any time if other issues arise.

ParticipantHey Karly,
Thanks for reaching out.
The headers remaining as abbreviations is a default design choice of our plugin, and unfortunately can only be changed at this point with custom coding.
In regards to your second question, yes, this is a known bug and we are hoping to fix it in the next few releases. I’m sorry that I don’t have a specific ETA for the arrival of this fix! But: yes, it’s a bug. We have to fix the plugin JavaScript to make sure these features work as expected.
I hope this information helps!

ParticipantHey Indigo,
Thanks for reaching out and for your interest in our plugins. I’m sorry to say that while our plugins would provide much of the basic ticket-buying functionality, there are several specific things you listed that they do not provide. Below is a detailed response to each of your points.
– Tour runs once daily with a limit of 8 people per day
YES – you can achieve this by using the “recurring events” feature of Events Calendar Pro, and then sell tickets on these events with the tickets plugins.
– The customer can choose if they are a local customer and they will then get a discount.
SOMEWHAT – you can sell different tickets outright; so, a “visitor” ticket for $10 for example, then a “local” ticket for $8. Or you could just have a coupon code for locals or something; however, there is not a way to have it be a “choice” and then have the discount automatically-applied to the existing ticket. So, either two ticket types that are available, or a discount code that is typed at checkout; otherwise there is not a way to do this.
– If they are just a general customer and book for over 5 people they will also get a discount.
NO – this may be possible with other WooCommerce extensions, but is not with our plugins on their own.
– Tour is $139 per person, or if they are a local or made a group booking they pay $120 per person
[see above two answers in regards to this]
– They want the customer to be able to choose whether they want to pre-purchase photos for an extra $10 per group.
NO – this may be possible with other WooCommerce extensions, but is not with our plugins on their own.
– If someone makes a booking for 5 people for a day they need the calendar to then show 3 seats left for that day.
YES – if you only have 8 tickets for sale, the “stock left” count will update with each ticket sale, so if 5 tickets are gone then “3” will show as the remaining seats available.
I hope this information helps!
Thanks,

ParticipantHey Amin,
Since you are not a premium license-holder, we unfortunately cannot provide technical support here. I’m happy to help investigate this issue further but you unfortunately will have to post your issue in our Free support forums here → https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/
Before you do that, I’m curious: can you please set your site so that its active theme is the Twenty Sixteen theme, and then so that The Events Calendar is the ONLY active plugin?
Once your site is in this state, let me know and I will take another look at the issue. I know that leaving your site in this state can be a pain! But, I will work fast to try to minimize the amount of time it’s in this state; and I just wanted to offer this step as an attempt to be a bit more helpful. I will take a look at the issue in this state and learn what I can.
Thank you,
GeorgeJanuary 19, 2016 at 5:32 am in reply to: Error message on our site regarding the Events Calendar #1058392George
ParticipantI’m really sorry about this Deborah! Thanks for confirming your info – the issue here is a bit of weird one, so let me explain:
• We had an urgent security issue arise, and so we worked hard to get an update out the door in under 48 hours from the original bug report.
• In that rush, the version of 4.0.5 that first went live on wordpress.org, for updates, had this fatal error in it. Terrible mistake!
• As soon as we noticed this, we pulled the original 4.0.5 update files.
• Then we fixed them and reuploaded them.
So basically, the first time we posted 4.0.5 it had this error. But it has now been fixed. When you updated on your site, you got the version with the error in it.
I’m really sorry about this @Debora – it was a terrible mistake but from here, you should be able to basically delete the existing version of The Events Calendar off of your site, and then re-install the version 4.0.5 from here:
• https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/Deleting the plugin will not erase event content, although backing up your site before doing this replacement is recommended if possible.
Let me know if you do this re-installation of the plugin and, if so, if it helps at all.
Thank you for your patience with this!

ParticipantHey there,
This is because of a JavaScript error in your theme. Here is where the error is coming from specifically:
http://www.azdancecoalition.org/wp-content/themes/bt-evolution/evolution/js/theme.jsThe error message is this:
ReferenceError: $ is not definedI’m not quite sure why this would be happening, unfortunately. Your best bet is to report this bug to your theme developer and see if they have insight on how to fix it.
I hope this information helps!
