Previous events going back to beginning rather than to previous month

I am using list view by default. If I click the “Previous events” button from the main events page, it displays August 2013 (the oldest events on the list) rather than December 2015. If I do it in Month view, I get December 2015. Any way I can force the list view to show the most recent previous events?

Really sorry to hear about these issues – this is not default behavior and so I’m wondering if you could share your “System Information” with us to help us investigate why this might be happening?

I don’t see anything in this information that is outright problematic, so unfortunately I think that there might be a plugin code conflict here.

Before investigating this though, what are your site’s permalinks settings? These are literally just the settings in your wp-admin Settings > Permalinks page – for example, are they set to /%postname%/?

If not, does setting them /%postname%/ make any difference with the behavior of this issue?

Permalink are set to postname. I went into plugins to start turning them off to figure out which was causing the problem and saw there was an update for events calendar to 4.0.5. Did the update and now it seems to be fine. So maybe it was a conflict that was addressed in the latest release?

Glad to hear about this, Kyle! You are right about there perhaps having been a conflict that is resolved now…
