Tour setup showing seats left

Hi a client of mine has a tour that needs the following options, we have managed to set the tour up in woocommerce (which you can see at the link above) however they require to show how many seats left for each day:

– Tour runs once daily with a limit of 8 people per day
– The customer can choose if they are a local customer and they will then get a discount.
– If they are just a general customer and book for over 5 people they will also get a discount.
– Tour is $139 per person, or if they are a local or made a group booking they pay $120 per person
– They want the customer to be able to choose whether they want to pre-purchase photos for an extra $10 per group.
– If someone makes a booking for 5 people for a day they need the calendar to then show 3 seats left for that day.

Is this possible using your plugin?

Thanks for reaching out and for your interest in our plugins. I’m sorry to say that while our plugins would provide much of the basic ticket-buying functionality, there are several specific things you listed that they do not provide. Below is a detailed response to each of your points.

– Tour runs once daily with a limit of 8 people per day

YES – you can achieve this by using the “recurring events” feature of Events Calendar Pro, and then sell tickets on these events with the tickets plugins.

– The customer can choose if they are a local customer and they will then get a discount.

SOMEWHAT – you can sell different tickets outright; so, a “visitor” ticket for $10 for example, then a “local” ticket for $8. Or you could just have a coupon code for locals or something; however, there is not a way to have it be a “choice” and then have the discount automatically-applied to the existing ticket. So, either two ticket types that are available, or a discount code that is typed at checkout; otherwise there is not a way to do this.

– If they are just a general customer and book for over 5 people they will also get a discount.

NO – this may be possible with other WooCommerce extensions, but is not with our plugins on their own.

– Tour is $139 per person, or if they are a local or made a group booking they pay $120 per person

NO – this may be possible with other WooCommerce extensions, but is not with our plugins on their own.

YES – if you only have 8 tickets for sale, the “stock left” count will update with each ticket sale, so if 5 tickets are gone then “3” will show as the remaining seats available.
