    Hi Tony,

I’m really sorry that you’re caught between developers here, but unfortunately a premium license will not mean we can fix your issues.

We in fact offer no support for third-party software, or issues that arise from them, so buying a premium license is not something I would recommend in hopes of resolving the theme issue.

    I’m sorry about this!

Can you share a link directly to your site’s event page, where this issue happens, with the problematic theme active on your site? I will look at the issue specifically myself, and investigate the code behind the problem. I might be able to pinpoint the exact code and either fix it, or at least specify the source of the problem to pass it along to the theme developer and hope for some development on the bug from them.

    Thank you,
    George

Thanks for posting here, @otp1014. I unfortunately do not have any updates on this specific issue at this time 🙁

    Sorry to bear this news!

    Hey Guido,

That error would arise if you are sending the email as a reply to an email forum update from this support thread, or if you CC the email address that has sent the thread update….

I would recommend double-checking that you have opened a new email and do not have [email protected] (or any email other than [email protected]) CCed in the email addresses.

If you are certain you’re doing this and the issue persists, then I’m very sorry about this – in which case I would recommend posting your information changes here with the “Set as private reply” option checked. This option will ensure that only you and the Support Team see the content of the reply.

Thank you for your patience with this!

    Sincerely,
    George

    Hey @Gael,

Thanks for reaching out. I see 8 questions here, but to be candid I am not sure all 8 need a specific response. There are some of your questions to which the answer is “no”, and these seem like important enough features for your site that our plugins are not the right plugin for the job.

To be specific, the major things I mean are as follows:

    • Our plugins are not 100% compatible with WPML, and there are many features of our plugins that do not work with WPML. 100% compatibility will not come in our software for many months from now, at the earliest. 🙁

    • There is no feature in any of our plugins that do the musician-related features you ask about.

    • You cannot create one event and have it be in multiple cities and dates and such. Each instance would need to be a separate event.

    • There is no Visual Composer module.

So, these are all major things that our plugins do not provide. Based on this it seems like our plugins are not the tool for your project 🙁

Let me know what you think!

    Sincerely,
    George

    Hi Marcos,

To sell tickets with WooCommerce with our plugins, you need to have all of the following plugins installed and activated on your site:

    • WooCommerce [free] – http://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce
    • Event Tickets [free] – http://wordpress.org/plugins/event-tickets
    • Event Tickets Plus [$89/year and up] – https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets-plus/

I hope this helps! Let me know any other questions, comments, or concerns you might have 🙂

    Cheers,
    George

    Hey @Guido,

Really sorry about this – this is a temporary bug on our site that we are working to fix!

I don’t have an ETA on when this fix will arrive; I’m sorry to bear that news. But this is a bug and some of our developers are working on it as we speak.

In the meantime, can you email [email protected] with a link back to this thread?

I can help manually update your account’s VAT number privately over email that way.

Thank you for your patience with this, real sorry for the trouble!

    Hey Jamie,

Our products unfortunately do not let Eventbrite ticket purchases happen on the WP site itself – users are taken to Eventbrite.com to complete the purchase of tickets, and there is unfortunately no way to change this at this time 🙁

I don’t know of any alternatives that allow this; there may not be any. The Eventbrite platform seems to universally require their payment processing and ticket-buying to happen on eventbrite.com itself.

Sorry to disappoint! I hope this information is clear and helps you move forward with your project nonetheless. Let me know if this is the case and if there’s anything else I can help with.

    Sincerely,
    George

    Hey Pieter,

While there are no shortcodes in the free version of The Events Calendar, there are shortcodes for listing events and such in Events Calendar Pro. You can read more about the available shortcodes on this page → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/

    I hope that information helps!

Let me know if it does and/or if you have any other questions 🙂

Sure thing! I’m sorry that the answer here was less-than-ideal, but glad to have helped.

I’ll close this thread for now, but open a new thread any time if any other questions, comments, or concerns arise.

Best of luck with your project,

    Awesome!

If you need to write more custom CSS on your site, definitely check out a [free!] tool like Firebug if you use FireFox, or the Developer Tools for either Safari or Chrome. They have “Inspector” tools that let you zoom right over the element whose styles you want to change…

And one last thing: keep good backups of all custom code you write! 😀

I’ll close up this thread for now but open a new thread any time if other questions, comments, or concerns arise.

    Cheers,

    Hey Cody,

    Thanks for reaching out!

There is nothing in our plugins, free or premium, that would enable this sort of list by default. You would have to custom-code this sort of list even if you bought the PRO add-on, or other add-ons 🙁

I’m sorry to disappoint! I hope this information is clear and helps you move forward with your project nonetheless.

    Hey @Edwin,

Thanks for reaching out. To adjust the color of that text in your tooltips, I would recommend removing all of the other custom CSS related to the tooltips that you have written thus far.

Then, add the following CSS to the bottom of your theme’s style.css file:

    #tribe-events-content .tribe-events-tooltip .tribe-events-abbr {
    color: #000 !important;
    }

    I hope this helps!

    Hey Hugh,

Really sorry to see this – this looks like a bug on our end for sure!

I’ve found the code responsible for the code and will make a ticket for our developers to investigate this a bit more closely. I do not have an ETA on when this will be fixed, but hopefully it will be in the next update of Event Tickets Plus since it’s a relatively easy thing to fix.

Real sorry about the existence of this bug; but thank you for reaching out! We’ll patch this up as soon as possible.

Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help with in the meantime.

    Sincerely,
    George

    Hey @Namita,

Sure thing – sorry to hear about this!

To get started, can you share your site’s “System Information” with us? Here’s how to do that → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

I’ll read through the information and see what I can learn about your site; further actions can be taken from there.

    Thank you!
    George
