IS there anyway i can show upcoming events as a widget or shortcode in a page

While there are no shortcodes in the free version of The Events Calendar, there are shortcodes for listing events and such in Events Calendar Pro. You can read more about the available shortcodes on this page → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/
