Error: your start date returned no results…

Hi guys,

I’m using a multisite WP installation and i’m trying to import the events from one site a (golfclubgaasterland.nl) into the calendar on site b (leden.golfclubgaasterland.nl -> behind a login). I bought the Ical importer but I can’t get it to work. Hope you can help.

This is the Ical URL i’m trying to import: http://www.golfclubgaasterland.nl/events/?ical=1&tribe_display=month.

When I hit the search button, I get a message:

Your Start Date returned no results. Please adjust your Start Date.

Start date is set to today, and the event calender on site a has events in the future for sure.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for reaching out.

I’m sorry to hear about these issues, but am curious about your use of iCal Importer for the transfer of data you describe.

It seems like you are trying to take events from one WordPress site and move them to another, on the same network.

1. Is this correct? Or are you moving events from a non-WordPress site to a WordPress site?

2. Can you share the “System Information” for both websites? Here’s how to do that → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

This information will help us get started on investigating the issue.

Hi George,

Thanks a lot for you’re response. I’m using an WP network and the Ical importer because I want to have the same calendar on both sites. According to you guys (helpdesk) it could only work if I used the Ical importer. This was about 4 months back or so. Perhaps more.

Where should I put the sys info? I only have a reply field.

I was able to reproduce the problem by trying to import the URL you shared earlier.

I’ve reached out to some of the developers on our time so that we can take a closer investigation here, and I will keep this thread updated with what we find.
