ParticipantThanks for clarifying Conan!
There’s unfortunately no way to have this happen automatically like you describe. You can add the specific date of the event like you describe, though yes, when the event is passed it remain stuck on the “passed” event. Or you can link to the /all/ URL, but this shows all events, not just upcoming ones…
…this is a limitation that unfortunately has no workaround at this time. I am sorry to bear that news!
Please let me know if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with.
Sincerely,

ParticipantHey Robb,
There’s unfortunately no way to do this out of the box with our plugins. You may be able to sync up events themselves adequately using The Events Calendar’s built-in import and export tools.
But syncing up ticket inventories is just not really possible without some extensive customization of Database integrations between the sites and such.
Sorry to disappoint! Please let me know if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with.

ParticipantThis is not something I can recreate, @Dan — and our plugins do not add any text like this. To help us investigate why that text might be showing up, then, can you please share your site’s complete, un-edited system information using the “Sharing information manually” steps outlined in this article: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Thanks!

ParticipantThis is not possible at this time Charlie, and unfortunately there are no plans to implement this either. It’s more technically challenging to pull off than it may seem, and so even if this does ultimately arrive in our plugins at some point, it would not be for many months from now at the earliest.
I’m sorry to bear that news but wanted to be forthright — please let me know this helps and if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with.
Sincerely,

ParticipantThanks for reaching out, Karly.
These issues are indeed affecting the usability of Community Events — we are already aware of and actively working on issues #1, #2, and #6 that you reported here.
Issues #3, #4, and #5 are not ones I am thus far finding logged in our bug-tracking system, so I will investigate these bugs and log those necessary tickets in line with my findings.
While I do that, I’m curious if you could post your site’s system information? It may helpful to have if, for example, I find something a little different from what you describe for a given issue here…
…you have already allowed for the automatic sharing of system information from your website with us—thank you for this! But when I try to query for that system information from our support tools, it is coming up empty for some reason. So that’s why I’m asking here—can you post your site’s complete, un-edited system information using the “Sharing information manually” steps outlined in this article: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/ ?
Thanks Karly, stay tuned for information on these other bugs you report!

ParticipantHey @Conan,
Thanks for reaching out.
It sounds like you’re trying to automate this process in some way, or have the plugin handle this automatically—is that correct?

ParticipantHey Hendrik!
This is unfortunately not something our plugins can really support at this time. 🙁
They’re designed to mainly support — and indeed work best with — the calendar existing right off the root domain. So, domain.com/events/ and domain.com/event/single-event-name/
Sorry to disappoint! Please let me know if this helps and if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with.

ParticipantHey Michelle,
That license key field in your screenshot is under the Event Aggregator label. Events Calendar Pro is not Event Aggregator, and so entering your Events Calendar Pro license key in the Event Aggregator license key field will not work.
Please install Events Calendar Pro on your site.
Then activate the plugin.
Then go to Events → Settings. If you have installed and activated Events Calendar Pro, there should be a new “Licenses” tab there in the settings screen.
Go to that tab.
You’ll see an Events Calendar Pro license key field where you can enter your Events Calendar Pro license key.
Let us know if this helps! 😀

ParticipantSure thing Stanley, sit tight while I escalate this issue to our development team and we take a closer look at why such a small number of events are showing up.
Stay tuned.
