    Hi. We have been testing the most recent version of the plugins (4.4.x) on our staging site and have found a few issues. We’ve disabled all non-TEC plugins, removed all customizations, as well as cleared/disabled our cache and confirmed that these issues persist when on the Twenty Fourteen theme with only TEC Plugins activated (see attached System Info for full details). In case it helps, we also noticed the same Submit an Event issues on your demo at http://wpshindig.com/events/community/add

    #1: Community Events Submit Event form: A new Venue cannot be created via the form. Only the Use Saved Venue dropdown appears in the module. The Venue fields (Venue Name, etc) only appear after an error message is returned.
    #2: Community Events Submit Event form: A new Organizer cannot be created via the form. Only the Use Saved Organizer dropdown and Add Another Organizer button appear in the module. The Organizer fields (Organizer Name, etc) only appear after an error message is returned.
    #3: Community Events Submit Event form: The date and time entered are not retained when an error message is returned (reverts to default date and time).
    #4: Month View on mobile: imageSrc does not work (images are not found and thus not displayed). Changing the code in mobile.php to imageTooltipSrc appears to be a workaround as it allows the images to display.
    #5. The Events Calendar: There is a duplicate in the-events-calendar.pot file. This prohibits us from updating our existing translation .po file with the source text from the latest version of TEC.
    #6: Community Events Submit Event form: the width of #event_tribe_organizer .saved-linked-post .saved-organizer-table-cell is set to 170px. This seems like it may be a typo, as the label doesn’t appear on one line on desktop. If it was 270px width, it would align and match the width of the “Use Saved Venue” label.

    Can you please advise? Since these are essentially rendering the Community Events plugin unusable, we unfortunately are unable to update our live site until these are fixed.

    Thanks for reaching out, Karly.

    These issues are indeed affecting the usability of Community Events — we are already aware of and actively working on issues #1, #2, and #6 that you reported here.

    Issues #3, #4, and #5 are not ones I am thus far finding logged in our bug-tracking system, so I will investigate these bugs and log those necessary tickets in line with my findings.

    While I do that, I’m curious if you could post your site’s system information? It may helpful to have if, for example, I find something a little different from what you describe for a given issue here…

    …you have already allowed for the automatic sharing of system information from your website with us—thank you for this! But when I try to query for that system information from our support tools, it is coming up empty for some reason. So that’s why I’m asking here—can you post your site’s complete, un-edited system information using the “Sharing information manually” steps outlined in this article: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/ ?

    Hi George,

    Just wanted to check on the status of these Community Events issues. I know they didn’t make it into the last maintenance release but I didn’t seem any of them on https://theeventscalendar.com/known-issues/ either. Any chance they will be included in the next maintenance release? We’d love to be able to update to version 4.4 but can’t until these Submit an Event form bugs are fixed.

    Also, were you able to confirm Issue #4 (Month View on mobile: imageSrc does not work) and Issue #5 (Duplicate in the the-events-calendar.pot file)?

    Hi Karly,

    I unfortunately don’t have update news, but can confirm that #4 and #5 will also eventually be resolved too — we are working on a large number of bugs, big and small, and so these things are indeed taking some time. 🙁 I am sorry about this fact. But development is actively in progress for these any many other bugs.
