ParticipantOn to some of the specific questions:
will it copy everything from FB?
Picture, text dates, times, location, cost ?I cant’ figure out what it actually does. Just title and dates?
It will import everything, but not tickets: so the featured image, dates, times, titles, description, organizer, etc., but if the event on Facebook.com has tickets that you can buy on Facebook.com, this data will not be imported with Event Aggregator at this time.
You could do a better job at marketing it, maybe showing vids and maybe pointing to sites that use it?
Check out the main product page for Event Aggregator → https://theeventscalendar.com/product/event-aggregator/
↑ The very first thing on the top left of that page under the “Introducing Event Aggregator” headline is a video showing imports in action from the wp-admin and how it all looks and works.
Same with pro … is the only real advantage recurring events? 90/yr so that I can have recurring events? Continent sure if you have a ton of events, but if I have 1 event recurring once a week… 90 bucks for just that? meh
To see a breakdown of all of the advantages of Events Calendar Pro, check out the table on this page that compares what features exist in The Events Calendar and what features are Events Calendar Pro-only → https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/

ParticipantHi Valerio,
Thanks for reaching out.
I will address some of your specific question in batches below. For starters, though, there are two things I would like to point out:
1. We have a demo site that will let you see some front-end features inaction; not admin, unfortunately, but at least the front-end stuff. You can learn more about this here → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/do-you-have-a-demo-examples-i-can-see-or-trial-licenses/
2. We have a thirty-day refund policy, so please feel free to buy any of these products and try them out firsthand yourself. You have thirty days as basically a “trial period”—if you don’t like the plugins, just request a refund on this page and we’ll refund 100% of your funds immediately.
Thanks,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHi there,
Thank you for reaching out. These forums here are our “Pre-sales Questions” forums, so we unfortunately cannot field technical support questions here.
It doesn’t currently appear that you have a premium license with us. If this is wrong, and you do have a premium license with us, then apologies for my misunderstanding!
However, in that case please log into the account on this site that has your premium license, and then post this question in a premium support forum.
If you indeed do not have a premium license, then please post your question in our free support forums here → http://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar
We check those forums a bit more than once per week, so hopefully we will be able to get to your question there.
Thank you,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHi @Irina,
Coming back to the main issue here:
I have tested with all of the default Permalink options and I have no issues. Here is a 30-second screencast video showing my findings, just so you know that I’m not being dishonest here! → https://cloudup.com/c92qo-waZL6
When you say this:
The events and tickets display properly only with %postname% option. I am wondering why is it not working with /%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%/, as this option is also wordpress default.
1. ↑ Can you confirm if you are still testing these permalink options within the settings page of that permalinks plugin? Or have you deactivated this plugin for now, and are only using the built-in WordPress Permalinks page at Settings → Permalinks in your wp-admin?
2. I just noticed that your site’s version of WordPress is outdated. This could be a factor here. So please update your site. You’re currently using version 4.4.1—the most recent version is 4.6.1
Thank you,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHi @Irina,
I’m going to answer things out of order so that we can keep the main focus here on your permalinks issues—we can address other questions later. For now, you ask this:
Also, i am looking for a workaround for this. Is there a way to print the ticket on the same single event listing page for the logged in users who have purchased the ticket rather than opening in a new link (URL/ticket/) ?
☝️ No, there’s no way to modify this behavior with our plugins. You could only do so with extensive custom coding beyond the scope of support. 🙁 I’m sorry to bear that news!
If you are so keen on these features that you’re indeed willing to hire a customizer to help you implement them, we have a list of customizers here that might be helpful → http://m.tri.be/18k1 (and we have no affiliation with any of these folks–they’re simply some well-respected names in the community that we’ve compiled).

ParticipantSorry to hear this!
This is unfortunately a known bug that we’re working hard on fixing—stay tuned to plugin releases for he hopeful arrival of a fix for this soon!
If you try the steps I recommended to W David in that other thread, do things improve for you?
If you cannot edit the settings yourself, please contact your site administrator to see if they can per the instructions I recommended to W David in that other thread.
Let us know what you find!

ParticipantHello!
We responded via email on November 25.
Our system shows that the email was viewed by the recipient at 10:17 am on that day, November 25….
Perhaps the email didn’t make it to you specifically, or to the board specifically?
We will not be able to continue this conversation here on the public forums because private information needs to be shared (like the email address we responded to, for example), so please follow up with us as follows:
• Send us an email at support at theeventscalendar dot com
• Include a link back to this forum thread here in your email—this will be a point of reference for us—it’s extremely helpful and will help you get a faster responseThanks!

ParticipantHi Ashutosh,
You can use the Attendee Information feature I linked you to above to add as many fields as you’d like. So yes, you can add 10–12 extra fields for each attendee. The field types provided are radio, text field, drop-down, textarea, and more…
Please check out that article for more information about that feature—and note, as well, that we have a 30-day refund policy, so you can try out our products firsthand and if they don’t suit your needs well, you can request a refund any time within 30 days after purchase here.
As for customizing things, you can customize any thing you would like with custom coding. However, we cannot help with custom coding as elaborated upon here → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/
Sincerely,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantGlad to hear it, @Arno! If you hope to further refine or build upon this code, or troubleshoot issues with it, check out the resources I linked to above for further customization assistance.
Best of luck with your project in the meantime. 😀
Cheers,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantGlad to hear it, Dave!
As noted, there’s a bug we’re working on that does affect this stuff, so stay tuned to the next products releases—it should help with these sorts of issues.
Best of luck with your project in the meantime!
Open a new thread any time if other issues or questions arise.
Sincerely,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantThanks for reaching out Jeanne, and for the kind words about our calendar systems!
There is no built-in (or “out-of-the-box”) support for the “Wild Apricot” system you mention, so building integration between these systems would unfortunately require extensive custom coding. 🙁
To implement the custom coding, you would have to write that custom code or hire a professional developer to do it for you. We have a list of great developers here → http://m.tri.be/18k1 (and have no affiliation with any of these folks—they’re simply some well-respected names in the community that we’ve compiled to share in situations like this one).
Sorry to disappoint! Please let me know if there are any other issues or questions I can try to help with.
Sincerely,
GeorgeGeorge

ParticipantHey there,
In regards to demo sites and such, check out this knowledgebase article of ours about to learn about demos → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/do-you-have-a-demo-examples-i-can-see-or-trial-licenses/
Our premium plugin, Event Tickets Plus, does allow for the collection of attendee information. You can read about that here → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/collecting-attendee-information/
I hope this information helps; if you have specific follow-up questions, let us know.

December 3, 2016 at 9:32 am in reply to: Only show Venues added by logged in user in Venue List? #1201253George
ParticipantHi Terri,
Thanks for reaching out.
Doing this is unfortunately not possible without custom coding. We are not able to guide you through the process of custom coding, as elaborated upon here (please check this out!) → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/
So to implement the features you describe, you would have to write that custom code or hire a professional developer to do it for you. We have a list of great developers here → http://m.tri.be/18k1 (and have no affiliation with any of these folks—they’re simply some well-respected names in the community that we’ve compiled to share in situations like this one).
With all of this being said, though, can you please clarify the following two things?
1. Do you allow anonymous submissions for your Community Events page? Or do you have anonymous submissions disabled, so that folks have to be logged in to submit their events?
2. Can you please share a screenshot of the specific “Venues List” you’re referring to? This could mean many different things and I just want to be 100% certain I know “Venues List” you’re referring to.
☝️ With this information in mind, then while we cannot help you with the custom coding or guide you through the process, I will at least try to point you in the right direction for figuring out where to go from here.
Thanks,
GeorgeGeorge
ParticipantHey @W David,
Sorry to hear this!
This sounds like it’s related to another bug we’re currently working hard on fixing—to help determine if so, can you head to your site’s wp-admin and to Settings → General?
Once there, take a look at the WordPress URL and Site URL options. Your site says it is at http://bssef.com, but the value for these options appears to be https://bssef.com
If you remove the “s” so that instead of https:// it’s just http:// does anything improve?
So, for both of those options, change this:
To this:
☝️ Once you do this, do the issues persist there with the recurrence fields?
Thanks,
George -
