MemberGood evening Craig and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions. If you have not already, I highly recommend reading and using the following guides:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/creating-translations-for-events-using-wpml/
When it comes to translation of the months, I would recommend the following:
- Head over to WPML > String Translation
- Do a string search for a month (e.g.: November)
- Make sure you have translations entered for every possible context (not only the Events Calendar strings)
- Repeat for all months
The header string to translate should look like “%s for %s”. You can find it with string translation as well I believe. You will also need to make sure you translate every string that named “Events” to make sure the first part of the title translates as well.
Have a great day!

I would love to help you with this topic.Could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.Hang in there!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions. As it turns out we are already well under way when to have our plugins translated in Japanese.
I highly recommend reading the 3 following articles on translation:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/how-to-override-plugin-language-files/
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/incomplete-translations/
You can get a sense of our Japanese projects for our free plugins here:
- 57% https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/the-events-calendar/stable
- 48% https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/event-tickets/stable
Our premium plugins are in need of a little more work.
In fact, we would gladly provide you with some free licenses as a token of our appreciation if you plan on contributing to the translations.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood afternoon Risto,
I totally understand.
If you ever change your mind, getting at least a copy of the theme would go a long way in helping to troubleshoot this.Another thing that could help is setting up some form of staging copy of the site that is accessible.
In any case, you are welcome back in our support forums any time.
For now, I am going to close this thread.

The string you are looking to translate will look like “%s for”
If you translated properly and the translation file strings are not kicking in, it is usually caused by one of the following things:
- Your translation files are not up to date
- You are using some customized translation files that have been placed in the /wp-content/languages/ or /wp-content/languages/plugins/ folder. These might not be updated and will override any other file.
- The strings are translated, but are considered “fuzzy”
In the first 2 cases, the solution is to update your translation files using the pot file. You can do this by using the Poedit software and heading to Catalog > Update from pot file.
In the last case, you will need to make them “unfuzzy” using Poedit.
Let me know how that goes.

I would love to help you with this topic.Just to be extra sure, could you provide me with a link to such a case ?
But by the sound of it, it looks like you might have a start sale date in place.
What is going on is that the ticket will not be displayed until that date is met.Try temporarily removing the start sale date to see if that helps.
Let me know how that goes.

I would love to help you with this topic.I believe the issue is with the way you are calling 20317.
You would probably have better success by calling a variable and giving that variable a value of 20317.For example $pagedest = ‘20317’; and wp_redirect( get_page_link($pagedest) );
Most of our users just install https://wordpress.org/plugins/theme-my-login/
This gives them total control over the user login experience, including on the chosen logout page.
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Vyacheslav,
Thank you for writing back and providing an example.
To achieve what you are looking for you will need to use our Mini-calendar widget.
You can see it in action on the right side of the following page: http://wpshindig.com/event-widgets/You can also add thumbnails to the images and tweak the look completely.
You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works. Here is how to use the widgets https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/ with shortcodes. You can also use them in widget areas.
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood morning Wendy,
I am glad to see you managed to tackle the “Add to cart” issue!
I am still waiting for an explanation from our coding ninjas.
In the meantime, I do have a solution for the “You have %s for %s” part. You can fix that with a view customization for the order-links.php file.
You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.Simply put the following file in [your-theme]/tribe-events/tickets/orders-link.php : orders-link
You can adjust the text around line 36.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,
