Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions. As it turns out we are already well under way when to have our plugins translated in Japanese.
I highly recommend reading the 3 following articles on translation:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/how-to-override-plugin-language-files/
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/incomplete-translations/
You can get a sense of our Japanese projects for our free plugins here:
- 57% https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/the-events-calendar/stable
- 48% https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/event-tickets/stable
Our premium plugins are in need of a little more work.
In fact, we would gladly provide you with some free licenses as a token of our appreciation if you plan on contributing to the translations.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!
Geoff B.
