MemberGood afternoon John and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching to us with this question.
I am unsure exactly why the after HTML is showing up twice. It could be for a variety of reasons, including:
- WordPress theme customization
- WordPress theme or plugin conflict
- Caching issue (wp rocket in your case)
- Legitimate bug
In order to be sure, I would recommend going through our Testing for Conflicts guide first and letting us know what your findings are.
But, if you are looking for a quick fix, you could try adding the following rule to your custom CSS.

Let me know what you find out.
Have an awesome day!

MemberGood afternoon Edwin and welcome back to our forums!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
The reason why you are getting the message is that you should indeed update Pro and Community to version 4.04 (that was released this weekend and that includes important security patches).
It turns out I actually ran into the issue you are describing with license keys myself at some point.
Here’s how to fix it:
- Navigate to the license keys screen
- Enter the seemingly missing license key and then tab over to a different field on the page (wait for the license key confirmation message)
- Repeat process for the other missing license
- Once you have the second confirmation message, hit “Save”
For some weird reason, that works. You can double-check by navigating away and coming back to the license page.
This should enable you to update the 2 plugins.
Let me know if that works for you.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood afternoon Aleix and welcome back to our support forums!
We are sorry to hear about these error messages.
Hopefully we can help you troubleshoot (and fix) what is causing the issue. To begin, can you please go to WP-Admin > Settings > General > Timezone, once in there please Save Changes and try again.
At this point, I cannot confirm if the recurrence events are set properly.
Could you please provide a screenshot of one of the recurring events settings ?Also, can you please provide us with your system information in a private reply ?
Have a great day!

MemberGood afternoon Atul and welcome to the Events Calendar forums!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
Do you support Add to Cart button or online ordering right from month view or other views?
Yes, we support online ordering of tickets for your events. To do that you will need 3 plugins:
That being said, built-in, the buy button is not directly in the Calendar views.
The good news is that you can totally add them by customizing your installations.
I suggest reading:
- Our themer’s guide to get a sense of how to properly customize your installation
- My colleague Nico’s great article on how to add information to the tooltip (in the Monthly view)
We do not support complete customizations per se, but we at least try to get our clients pointed in the correct direction.
Let me know if that answers your questions.
Have a wonderful day!

MemberGood afternoon Benjamin and welcome to the Events Calendar support forums!
We are sorry to hear about the frustrating experience you have had so far.
Hopefully, we can help turn this around in the timeliest way possible. But just to set expectations, this might require a bit of back and forth to identify what the cause of the issue is.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Have just purchased the plug in and had major issues in installing via WooCommerce for WordPress
This can actually part of the explanation. Can you please provide more details on the type of problems you have had with installing WooCommerce ?
I understand you need the events calendar plug in in order to then sell tickets via the event tickets plus plug in.
That is absolutely right.
That said it is not appearing in my wordpress previews when creating an event
nor is the event calendar coming up in the meta box in the MENU section of the wordpress backend editor. In order to provide you with the proper troubleshooting steps, I would require your system information.
Can you please provide it in a private reply ?That being said, more specifically about your questions:
- If I understand what you are saying, you are able to create a ticket in an event, but you are not seeing the said ticket when you look at the single event details. Can you confirm ?
- The Events Calendar link does not get added by default to the WordPress menu.
The good news is that you should be able to add it via Appearance -> Menu
We are looking forward to hear more from you.
Best regards,

MemberMe again,
Can you also make sure you upgrade core, Pro and Community to the version that was released this weekend ?
Thanks,

January 18, 2016 at 11:54 am in reply to: Google Maps link not Showing in tool tip or event info page #1058025Geoff B.
MemberHello again Ryan,
Thank you for your quick reply.
Re: tooltip…. In the examples of tool tips I see on the events calendar website
I guess you are referring to our showcase page, correct ?
If that’s the case, just to clarify, a lot of these examples are installations that were customized by our clients.
We are sorry for any confusion this might create. As stated in my previous answer, the Google maps link in the tooltip is unfortunately not a built-in feature.
But, the good news is that you can absolutely customize your installation to your liking too!
The best way to accomplish that is to follow our Themer’s guide along side the 2 links I sent you.
As a side note, the Google Chrome Inspector is giving me a couple of error message on your website:
- Failed to load resource: net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT https://platform.twitter.com/oct.js
- Uncaught ReferenceError: twttr is not defined
avia.js:893 e.fn.init[1]0: body#top.single.single-tribe_events.postid-10659.stretched.helvetica-neue-websave._helvetica_neue.tribe-filter-live.events-single.tribe-events-style-full.tribe-theme-parent-enfold.tribe-theme-child-gkskinnypasta.tribe-events-page-template.tribe-is-responsivecontext: documentlength: 1prevObject: m.fn.init[1]selector: “body”__proto__: m[0]
Is there anything else I can help you with on this topic ?
Best regards,

MemberGood afternoon Mad Dog,
I hope you had a nice weekend.
Thank you for running my suggested tests. I believe we are making progress.
Just to confirm, I am assuming that when you created the “dummy” event, you did so using the Community Events front end form, correct ?
If that’s the case, could you run one last test and see what happens when you create a past “dummy” event not using the Community Events front end form (using the back end) ?
Interestingly, and you can tell me if this is how it should function, when I go into the Admin Dashboard and go to Edit Events, then click MINE, it says there should be 19 events but only 3 show up. These are upcoming events (and I suspect the only upcoming events). The past ones don’t show up in the Admin area either. Is that how it should work? It doesn’t seem right to me but maybe that’s how it works. So from this I’d guess there are 16 past events of mine that I’m unable to access in any way…..
The answer to this question is no. This is not how it should function.
There is clearly something wrong with the access to your past events which we should be able to get to the bottom of very soon.P.S. In Admin, it shows there is 1 Draft. When I click to view that I get a message saying I have no events. So i suspect that is a “past” draft and it’s not displaying in the admin either!
Hmmm, this is actually very interesting, I wonder if there isn’t one of the past Events entries (maybe the past draft) that is “corrupted” in the DB.
But first let’s see what your finding for the “normal” past event test is.
Have a great day and hang in there!

I just noticed that the rest of the title said that you can’t see the map on the event info page as well.
Sorry about that.Could you please send me the URL of an example ?

MemberGood afternoon Ryan and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forums!
Thank you for your questions.
I have maps enabled in my events calendar but I’m not getting any map results.
I am not sure what you mean by not getting any map results ?
Based on the title of your thread, I believe you are expecting to see a tooltip. If that’s the case, please know that displaying the map link in the tooltip is not a built-in feature.
Could you please confirm ?
By the way, are you familiar with the Map view ? I’m mentioning it because I think this might be useful to you.
It is one of our Events Calendar Pro amazing features, which would require an additional license on your end.Would also like to have a “Google Maps” link on my month view tool tip as seen on your website.
That is absolutely feasible. Please read:
- My colleague George’s post on that topic (until the end)
- My colleague Nico’s general post on adding information to the tooltip
Let me know if that answers your questions.
Have an awesome day in Montreal (which is where I am located too)!

MemberGood afternoon Chana and welcome to the Events Calendar support forums!
Thank you for your interest in our products and we will be glad to answer all of your questions.
I have already bought your product Event calendar but it is not support
with Multi Language , Recurring with WPMLActually, we do support WPML for our core and Pro plugins. Please read the following post to get instructions on how to set things up.
If that does not help, please consider opening a support request in a proper product support post (and not in the pre-sales forum) by:
- Logging in to your Events Calendar account
- Using the following link
So kindly inform that new latest version Event calendar will perform: With WPML 1 Multi Lnaguage , Recurring , ?
And what cost for update ?Based on this question, it is not clear to me if your license of the Events Calendar is still active ? If your license is no longer active and you had a previous license, I would recommend logging in to your account and renewing your license to get the best possible price.
I need function with calendar is online booking option is possible ? Tow in one (calendar + online booking)
Yes, it is possible to have online booking. You can do this using our free Events Tickets plugin that integrates with the Events Calendar.
If you need to sell the tickets, you can use our Events Tickets Plus premium plugin that integrates with your favorite WordPress E-Commerce solution (Woocommerce, EDD, etc…)
Unfortunately, at this point Events Tickets and Events Tickets Plus do not support WPML (but we are working on it)
Let me know if that answers your questions and have a great day!

MemberGood morning Hugh,
I am sorry to hear that my suggestions is not really helpful to you.
As you might know, our ability to support customization is limited. But we try to get our wonderful clients started in the right direction.
With that in mind, could you please tell me if you are using our Community Events premium plugin ?
For now I am going to assume you are not.To answer you question the tribe_get_venue_id function is pretty much used to decide what to display regarding venues.
You can see it in action in many places in the code /plugins/the-events-calendar/src/functions/template-tags/venue.php , /plugins/the-events-calendar/src/Tribe/Template/Month.php and /plugins/the-events-calendar/src/functions/template-tags/general.phpBy using a condition (in your case a specific category) AND this function hook, you can simply remove the venue info altogether. There are many ways to do this (including returning a blank venue ID for a specific category).
You can see an example of conditional code at line 11 of venue.php using this function hook.
I hope this helps clarify things for you.
Let me know if it does please.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Mad Dog,
Thank you for testing things out and I am looking forward to get to the bottom of this with you.
I understand how deactivating plugins can be a bit scary sometimes.
I might be overstepping here, but have you considered doing these experiments in a testing environment or a local install copy of the site (much less stressful) ?In any case, I do not have a script handy at this time, but I will absolutely check with the Dev team when they return next week.
In the meantime, there is another test I would like you to perform if you don’t mind. Can you create a brand new “dummy” event that would be a past event and tell me if that event behaves the same (not being visible).
Have a great weekend,
Geoff B.
