ParticipantHi. Just encountered a strange problem. In Dashboard > Updates, I have two messages telling me that there is an update available – one each for PRO and COMMUNITY. It tells me to enter a valid licence key. So, in Events > Settings > Licenses, I enter the correct keys and receive a message that the keys are valid. However, if I navigate to another screen and then return, the keys are gone. And I still get the same two messages in Dashboard > Updates. When checking Plugins > Installed Plugins, I see that TEC is on version 4.0.5, TEC PRO and TEC COMMUNITY are each version 4.0.3. I am not having problems with functionality – everything is working just fine. But I keep getting those two messages in Dashboard > Updates. Is this something to be concerned about? Thanks,

Thank you for reaching out to us.
The reason why you are getting the message is that you should indeed update Pro and Community to version 4.04 (that was released this weekend and that includes important security patches).
It turns out I actually ran into the issue you are describing with license keys myself at some point.
Here’s how to fix it:
- Navigate to the license keys screen
- Enter the seemingly missing license key and then tab over to a different field on the page (wait for the license key confirmation message)
- Repeat process for the other missing license
- Once you have the second confirmation message, hit “Save”
For some weird reason, that works. You can double-check by navigating away and coming back to the license page.
This should enable you to update the 2 plugins.

I am finding the same problem with the licence key.
I have the following plugins installed – I had a message saying that I needed to add my licence key, which I found and did, a message came up saying that the key was valid until a certain date. However when I navigate away the key is gone and I don’t get the option to update the Pro version.
I tried to follow your post but it did not work for me.
Any ideas?
