    Good evening Christine,

If you use option 2 as outlined above, you should be able to achieve what you are looking the appropriate CSS elements.
In fact, it looks like you successfully achieved that. Kudos!

But, as stated before, for more control, our trustee Themer’s guide should guide you in creating a custom widget template that would be impervious to theme changes.

You are welcome back on our support forums any time 🙂

For now, I am going to close this thread.

    Have a great week!

    Good evening Dong Lin,

    Thank you for writing back.

You can simply upload these files directly in your plugins folder (as a separate entity from the Events Calendar).
Exactly the same way you would treat any new plugin.

    You can do that by:

    1. Using a FTP client (drop the file in /wp-content/plugins/)
    2. Use the “Add new plugin” button and upload the .zip file

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good evening Luis,

Thank you for the files and for the screenshot.

Based on what I am seeing, I am pretty sure the issue is that the files you have in /wp-content/languages/ need to be updated.

After backing up your current files, could you try replacing them with these ones: ES_update

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good evening Steph,

Thank you for the credentials (that I deleted again for security reasons).

I went ahead and added the CSS rules I recommended in the user CSS of the Cherry Frameworkon your install and they seem to work great.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Good evening kommdire and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.

If I understand correctly what you are saying, there seems to be a theme conflict between your WordPress theme and our plugins.

At this point I am not sure if you are using our free plugin or if you have purchased one of our premium add-ons (e.g.: the Events Calendar Pro, Event Tickets Plus, etc..) ?

If that is the case, could you please open a new thread here https://theeventscalendar.com/support/post/ .
This will give you access to premium support.

If you are a free plugin user, please note that we do not offer support for our free plugin on the pre-sales forum.

But, the good news is that you are still welcome to consult this forum to your liking and browse it for solutions, snippets and tutorials.

If you don’t mind, in the future could you please post your support questions here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/the-events-calendar ?

With that in mind, I would recommend contacting the theme author as a first step.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

Good evening Sabra and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

Can you please send me a screenshot of the following pages:

    1. Downloads > Payment history
    2. The Edit Event screen details on your install (including the Edit Tickets details)

As per the email, you are right. Normally, the tickets only get sent once the order is marked “complete”.

Normally, you should be getting emails pretty much every step of the way.
It looks like something might be blocking wp_mail emails on your install.

I would recommend installing and configuring a plugin such as: https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-wp-smtp/

This will use a legitimate email address to send emails instead of using the wp_mail method.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

Good evening Arqino and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the additional fields not showing up on your client’s theme.
I would love to help you with this topic.

You are right, this type of behaviour is usually caused by a conflict. Either:

    • With another plugin (most likely WooCommerce related)
    • A modified WooCommerce related function / filter in your theme’s functions.php

What needs to happen on the quantity change for Event Ticket Plus to show additional fields?

The fields appear when there is no other function tampering / overriding with the Add to cart section.

    My recommendation would be to:

    1. Do a quick database backup
    2. Try temporarily reverting to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-fifteen to see if the problem persists

If the problem is indeed caused by the theme, then you will have to look for WooCommerce related functions in the functions.php and disable them one at a time until you find the culprit.

If you are still stuck, could you please send me a copy of your WordPress theme / child theme in a .zip file link (via Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ?

Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates you might have made.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

Good evening Thomas and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about your theme overriding the Events Calendar layout.
I would love to help you with this topic.

There are a couple of things you might do to fix this:

    1. Under Events -> Settings -> Display , try playing with the radio button settings and change it to Tribe Events Style
    2. You can also try playing around with the setting directly below: Events Template

If none of these things work, it most likely means that you have a template customization in your WordPress theme.
These usually live in 2 places:

    1. The /tribe-events/ folder of your theme. Try renaming that folder to something like /z_tribe-events/
    2. Your theme or child theme’s functions.php file. You will have to open it up to see if that is the case.

You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

Good evening James and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

First off, I am sorry to hear that this is still ongoing for you. I remember helping you out with this in the past.
I would love to dig deeper on this topic.

Full disclosure, as you know, over the last couple of months, we did several adjustments to our Eventbrite plugin to match the ongoing changes at Eventbrite.

I would like to be able to verify a couple of things on your website, but it looks like whatever I click on, I am being redirected to the login page. I am not sure if this intended behaviour, but if so, would it be possible to have non-admin temporary credentials to look at the events ? (in a private reply)

Secondly, can you tell me if all is good in Events -> Settings -> APIs (is the authorization and key functional) on your install ?

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

Good afternoon Angie and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

Our best demo of our different plugins can be found here: http://wpshindig.com/events/

I am sorry to hear you are having difficulties processing the Payment via Paypal.
    Unfortunately, this sometimes happens.

Could you expand a little on the type of error message you are getting ?
Alternatively, have you tried paying using Stripe instead of Paypal ?

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good afternoon Jason,

    Thank you for confirming this.

In that case, I would temporarily disconnect the license (as outlined in the article I showed you), and manually update the plugin (deactivate, delete and download from your downloads page on this site).

Once that is done, you should be able to re-input your license properly.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,

Good afternoon Abby and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

The simplest way to go about this is to use a plugin such as: https://wordpress.org/plugins/intuitive-custom-post-order/

Once it’s installed and configured, you should be able to drag and drop the order of the tickets by going in WooCommerce’s Products menu.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

Good afternoon Dean and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your question.

The short answer is yes. But, you need to qualify for it.
You can read all about it here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/do-you-offer-discounts-for-nonprofit-organizations/

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!
