Keep having this issue

    I will get from time to time alerts that prompt me to re-input our license for PRO. When I do this, it gives me this alert “There is an update available for The Events Calendar PRO but your license key is out of installs. Visit the Events Calendar website to manage your installs, upgrade your license, or purchase a new one.” Usually then I have to update the PRO plugin, but this doesnt work either because it says I need to update my license. Its just an endless circle of errors.

    I would love to help you with this topic.

    Currently, our system indicate a license for redemptionaz.wpengine.com.
    Is this the site you are trying to update on ?

    If not, than this explains why you are getting the message (since you have personal license).
    If on the other hand you are trying to update a staging environment, then you might want to read the following article: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-your-license-keys/

    Good afternoon Jason,

    Thank you for confirming this.

    In that case, I would temporarily disconnect the license (as outlined in the article I showed you), and manually update the plugin (deactivate, delete and download from your downloads page on this site).

    Once that is done, you should be able to re-input your license properly.
