GuestInstall the plugin on a lotus, and as a result lost the installation thumbnails section. When you go to the default theme – section appears.

Are there options to correct this situation?September 13, 2016 at 9:03 pm #1163762Geoff B.
MemberGood evening kommdire and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions. If I understand correctly what you are saying, there seems to be a theme conflict between your WordPress theme and our plugins.
At this point I am not sure if you are using our free plugin or if you have purchased one of our premium add-ons (e.g.: the Events Calendar Pro, Event Tickets Plus, etc..) ?
If that is the case, could you please open a new thread here https://theeventscalendar.com/support/post/ .
This will give you access to premium support. If you are a free plugin user, please note that we do not offer support for our free plugin on the pre-sales forum.
But, the good news is that you are still welcome to consult this forum to your liking and browse it for solutions, snippets and tutorials.
If you don’t mind, in the future could you please post your support questions here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/the-events-calendar ?
With that in mind, I would recommend contacting the theme author as a first step.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

GuestGood afternoon!
As far as I could understand, you suggest me to download to buy your product, and then to solve problems?I think that is wrong.Yes, I have a conflict between your plugin and theme bought me.
I have already invested in the topic and talking or solving the problem, or change plugin.
After solving the problem I can think about buying pro version of the plugin, but up to this point I find it easier to find another plug.
If I did not write to the branch of your forum – will take in the right – it is unlikely to be a problem.September 14, 2016 at 4:21 pm #1164329Geoff B.
MemberGood afternoon kommdire,
Thank you for writing back.
I apologize if I caused more confusion with my previous reply. That certainly was not my intention.Let me try to clarify what I meant.
We are truly sorry for the theme conflict you are experiencing. We absolutely wish this was not the case.
With that in mind, as you might guess, with the thousands of WordPress themes out there we can only guarantee that our free plugin will work with a default WordPress theme and a vanilla installation.
That being said, we always keep an ear to the ground and try to solve issues whenever we can.
The proper place to get support for our free plugin is here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/the-events-calendar%C2%A0?
The forum you are currently using is actually reserved for pre-sales questions. That being said, it is very likely that the person that is best qualified to solve this specific conflict would be the theme author. In fact we are always interested in collaborating with these guys whenever we get a chance.
As for my other comment about purchasing a premium add-on license, I did mean that you need to buy the plugin to solve your issue. But rather that having a premium license also provides you with Premium support.
To wrap this up, I can’t promise you anything, but if you send me a copy of your WordPress theme / child theme in a .zip file link (via Dropbox or Google Drive) I could run some quick tests on my end to see if there is not something obvious.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
