Good evening and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

First off, I would like to apologize for the delay answering.
We are currently experiencing a higher level of requests than usual.

Please rest assured that we are working hard at correcting this situation.
We appreciate your patience while we try to normalize things.

When translation file strings are not kicking in or seem to be missing, it is usually caused by one of the following things:

    1. Your translation files are not up to date
    2. You are using some customized translation files that have been placed in the /wp-content/languages/ or /wp-content/languages/plugins/ folder. These might not be updated and will override any other file.
    3. The strings are translated, but are considered “fuzzy”

In the first 2 cases, the solution is to update your translation files using the pot file. You can do this by using the Poedit software and heading to Catalog > Update from pot file.

In the last case, you will need to make them “unfuzzy” using Poedit.

Circling back to your specific screenshots, the strings you are looking for might sometimes use variables (which is why you cannot find them):

    • “All Kurs” probably looks like “All %s” (where %s is the variable)
    • The “Attendee 1” string is probably “Attendee %s” (and found in Event Tickets or Event Tickets Plus language files)

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Bon week-end,

Try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:

    #tribe-events-content table.tribe-events-calendar {
    overflow: visible !important;
    }

Let me know how that goes.

Here are the recommended next steps to let you use recurring events to your liking:

    1. Make sure you have properly downloaded, installed and activated the Events Calendar Pro by using the following guide: http://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/new-user-primer-the-events-calendar-and-events-calendar-pro/
    2. Read and use the following guide: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-recurring-events/

If this does not work out as expected., as a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

Good afternoon Manisha and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.

I need to buy this plugin so i need to know whether this plugin will work properly on tablet and mobile device as our previous plugin has error in the mobile and tablet device.

Absolutely. As long as you are using a responsive WordPress theme, our plugins will display and adapt nicely to mobile and tablet device.

and It is compatible up to which version of wordpress.

Our plugins are compatible up to the very last version of WordPress (we upgrade our plugins about once to twice a month).

    Have a good weekend,

    Hey Matt,

I am glad to hear that it looks like this will work for your client.

One more question…The link you provided with a “ticket” link uses one of your plugins for selling tickets as well. Is there a way to just make this a link, or a picture to click on?

Actually, unless you want to, you do not have to use our ticketing plugins at all.

The idea I was suggesting is that you could “cheat” by literally redirecting people who click on your event to the ticketing website.

In any case, we have a great collection of snippets and extensions available (on top of what the themer’s guide lets you do).

Take a look around and please reach out if you have additional questions.

    Have a good weekend,

    Good afternoon Myla,

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

Could you please expand on what you mean by “not included in the same package” ?

Currently, your only active license is the Events Calendar Pro. It looks like you had a license for Event Tickets Plus a short while ago (December).

In any case, there is currently no bundle that offers those 2 specific plugins together (unless you went for the ultimate bundle of course): https://theeventscalendar.com/bundles/

    Have a great day!

Good afternoon Gary and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

Do I need to purchase events calendar pro to use with the ticketing system?

The Events Calendar Pro is a great plugin that works perfectly with Event Tickets Plus.
However, you do not need it to use Event Tickets Plus alongside events.

I would need to learn a bit more about your client’s requirements to be able to suggest the best approach to this.

The simplest way to approach this would be to create events and, in each event, create a ticket.
This allows the customer to pick the day and purchase tickets accordingly.

If, on the other hand you are looking for a solution that is ticket-oriented (as opposed to event-oriented), then perhaps you would benefit from using another approach than Event Tickets Plus.

    Best regards,

    Good afternoon Amaury,

I am glad you have found a solution that works for you.

As a side note, you can actually fully customize any view.
You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

You are welcome back in our support forums any time 🙂

    Good evening Amaury,

I am sorry that this did not work as expected for you.
Let’s take a step further and push the investigation.

Can you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme AND the content of your wp-content/languages/ folder via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.

Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.

    Hang in there!

    Geoff B.
