MemberGood evening Johanne and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the tickets not sending for so long. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic. You are right, being able to download the ticket is a great idea and I see you have opened a user Voice ticket for this: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/17558332-add-the-option-to-allow-the-user-to-download-the-e
Hopefully it gets lots of votes and moves forward.
With that in mind, I am pretty confident that by working together, we should be able to get to the bottom of your tickets not sending issue.
The absolute fix depends is going to be very specific to your situation. We first need to troubleshoot together to find the cause. Without running some tests, it will be hard to tell what the cause is. Probable causes are:
- Some conflict with your WordPress theme or with one of your plugins
- Some snippet or plugin forcing the order status to “Complete” when it shouldn’t.
- Some issue related to the SMTP address you are using with Postman
And, to your point, the tickets being sent should not depend on how much you have spent.
Before we continue, the good news is you are fully entitled to a refund on the extra plugins if you want one since you are within 30 days of your purchase. To obtain the refund, you just need to follow the procedure described here.
But back to the issue at hand for a second, here are some of the next steps I would like to take to solve the issue:
- I am noticing mixed content messages on your site (http versus https). You might want to look into that as this can result in surprising behaviour. In this case, it looks like some URLs need fixing. You might like the following plugin to help with that: https://wordpress.org/plugins/ssl-insecure-content-fixer/
- Would it be possible to send me a screenshot (in a private reply) of your settings for Postman ?
- Could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.
Hang in there as we take this to the next step.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the tickets acting up on your client’s website. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic.I believe this might be caused by the checkbox Try to set the status of new ticket orders to “complete” automatically under Events -> Settings -> Tickets being overly aggressive.
Try unchecking this to see if it helps.
That being said, in order for the ticket to be sent, the order status still need to be set to “Complete” (manually or otherwise), but not until the actual transaction goes through!
With that in mind, there are a couple of third-party plugins that do offer control on the conditions to set an order to “Complete” automatically.
Additionally, a lot of our users are also happy with: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/automatically-complete-orders/
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. The importer bundle retails for $199, while the upgrade you performed is $59.
I believe the simplest way to go about this would be to contact us via the site contact form and reference this thread: https://theeventscalendar.com/contact/
This will allow us to communicate privately.
What we could do is:
- Offer you a discount code for the importer bundle that matches the $59 paid
- Once that is done, revert your Filter Bar license to a personal license.
Let me know if that works for you and tell me when that is done so that I can follow-up on this and make sure everything is nice and tidy.
Have a great day!

I would love to help you with this topic. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how customization work.
Basically, you can simply make a copy of the view you want to modify, create a “tribe-events” folder in your WordPress theme and slide the copied file in the appropriate subfolder of “tribe-events” and edit away.
In your specific case, you need to look at the single-event section.
As an alternative, you can use CSS to hide things.
Try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:
.single .tribe-events-schedule h2 {display: none !important;}.single-tribe_events .tribe-events-cal-links {display: none !important;}As for relabeling, you can simply use the following snippet: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/change-the-wording-of-any-bit-of-text-or-string/
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood afternoon Loma and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.* Monthly Calendar view on public website
For this, all you need is our free the Events Calendar plugin: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar/
* Recurring events for chamber meetings and such
Recurring events are part of our the Events Calendar Pro premium add-on which extends our free the Events Calendar plugin: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/
Ability for public to register/buy ticket for an event via a website form submission without our having to provide user logins to WP and have them pay via PayPal.
This is accomplished by the combined effort of 2 of our products:
- Our free Event Tickets plugin: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets/
- Our premium Event Tickets Plus add-on which extends our Event Tickets plugin: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets-plus/ . This plugin interfaces with popular WordPress e-commerce plugins such as WooCommerce.
* Ability for community to submit events to event calendar via website form submission without our having to provide user logins to WP
This is accomplished via our Community Events premium add-on: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-community-events/
If you would also like to let your community create tickets, then you will also need to use our Community Tickets premium add-on: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/community-tickets/
By the sound of it, I believe you are a perfect candidate for our Community manager bundle: https://theeventscalendar.com/bundles/
As for the difference with Event Espresso, it would be hard to provide a truly unbiased review since this is a direct competitor.
With that in mind, in the end, it does boil down to personal preference as far as the user interface, the support staff and the customizability.
I know for a fact that we are constantly working at making these 3 aspects as strong as they can be.
Speaking of customizability, You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberHi again Pau,
Before I forget, there are 2 other things that might not be related, but that are worth checking:
- I notice that you are using an older version of PHP. I would highly recommend upgrading to PHP 5.4+
- It might also be worth upgrading our plugins to their latest versions.
Have a great day!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the main header becoming huge while zooming on the iPad.
I went ahead and checked your website with my own iPad and it turns out you are absolutely right. That being said, that is true of any page on your site, not just the calendar ones.
So it looks like this is a question for your WordPress theme author.
With that in mind, I believe what might not be helping is the z-index of the header:#main-header {
z-index: 99999;
}With that in mind, could you tell me which version of Divi you are using ?
I am asking because I cannot seem to reproduce the issue on my install.Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Curtis and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch impacting our single event view.
We are actively working on a fix for this.Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date for a fix at this point.
But you will be contacted as soon as there is one.
In the meantime try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:
.tribe-events-event-image {
float: none !important;
}Thank you for your patience as we see this through.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Steve and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I totally see your point provided the specific situation you are in (using the iCal importer’s unlimited license on a multisite install vs the possibilities with Event Aggregator).
I would like to run this by the team in charge of Event Aggregator.
I thank you in an advance for your patience while I do that for you.Secondly, i see that the aggregator is only good for 10 sites, how does this work with multi-sites? I am not worried about the amount of daily imports, as we would never exceed the 100 a day.
To be better able to counsel you on this part of the equation, could you give me and idea of how many sites would you require Event Aggregator for on this multi-site install ?
Also, when you say that daily imports would not exceed 100 a day, do you mean by sub-site on the multi-site install or globally ?
Best regards,
Geoff B.
