    Good evening Richard and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

    Thank you for your interest in our products.
    We’ll be glad to answer your questions.

    I’m assuming there would be some redundancies in purchasing both plug-ins;

    Actually, none of our plugins have redundancy.
    They act more as add-ons on top of either our the Events Calendar free plugin or our Event Tickets Free plugin.

    Each plugin brings unique additional features and possible combinations with other plugins.

    For example, the Events Calendar Pro allows your Community Events (among other things) to create recurring events.

    therefore, what would be the pricing for the two together?

    We currently offer a few bundles, as you can read about here: https://theeventscalendar.com/bundles/

    However, at the moment we do not have a special bundle price for only these 2 add-ons purchased together.

    Let me know if that helps clarify things.

    Have a great day!

    Good evening Alina and welcome back!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We are sorry to hear about the single-event url clashing with your theme’s event manager.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    The good news is that you can control that URL slug by going to Events -> Settings -> General.
    Look for the Single event URL slug setting.

    Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Une dernière chose, avant que je n’oublie, pour ce qui concerne l’abonnement aux nouveaux évènements d’une catégorie.

    Il semblerait qu’il soit possible de mettre une solution en place qui impliquerait Mailchimp et nos fils RSS (par catégorie). À lire:

    Bonsoir Jérôme,

    Merci de nous répondre.

    Pour votre premier besoin, vous avez 2 approches possibles (selon vos préférences):

    1. Utiliser un plug-in qui augmente la fonctionnalité de commentaires native de WordPress (solution la plus flexible)
    2. Utiliser un plugin qui augmente la fonctionnalité de vos produits / tickets (j’imagine via WooCommerce).

    Je vous invite à faire des tests avec différents plug-ins. Une brève recherche (non testée) m’a permis de trouver les 4 plug-ins suivants:

    1. https://wordpress.org/plugins/comment-rating-field-plugin/
    2. https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-review/
    3. https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-customer-reviews/
    4. https://wordpress.org/plugins/rating-widget/

    Pour ce qui est de votre 2ème suggestion, c’est promis, vous serez contacté si elle est retenue.
    En toute transparence, nous recevons une foule de suggestions très intéressantes.

    Je ne vous cacherai pas qu’il est parfois difficile de choisir parmi toutes ces excellentes idées.
    Merci de votre contribution! C’est très apprécié.

    Et je profite pour savoir comment intégrer The Event Calendar à mon thème divi ?

    Il vous suffit d’installer et activer nos plug-ins.
    Une fois que c’est fait, vous n’avez qu’à créer un item de menu personnalisé avec l’URL trouvé sous Events -> Settings -> General (ex: http://lausanne.onvasortir.com/evenements/  sera l’URL par défaut pour une installation en français).

    Dans le doute, vous n’avez qu’à me faire parvenir une capture d’écran de vos réglages sous Events -> Settings -> General

    Si jamais le calendrier ne s’affiche pas, vous devrez vous rendre à Events -> Settings -> Display et essayer différents réglages pour “Events Template”.

    En vous souhaitant une très bonne année 2017!

    Good evening Sharon,

    I am super stoked that this helped you have a functional workaround (even if far from perfect)!

    Thank you for your understanding.

    You should be contacted when the feature is released.

    Best regards,

    Good evening Tracy,

    I am glad this helped.

    However, as I went back to your site, it looks like something else has changed since the calendar page looks like it might benefit from that 110px rule again or, even simpler, from removing the one I gave you!

    As per your second question, I believe there are 2 CSS rules at play:

    Above “Upcoming events” (e.g.: http://www.aperturef8.com/newsite/events/ )

    #tribe-events-bar {
    margin-bottom: 30px !important;
    }

    Below “Upcoming events”

    .fusion-events-before-title {
    margin-bottom: 0px !important;
    }

    Let me know if that helps.

    Happy new year to you too!

    Good evening Jerome and welcome back!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    I would love to help you with this topic.
    As a side note, we can continue this conversation in French if you prefer.

    I want to create a profile with a note for people who create an event

    Could you expand on this ? I am not quite sure what you mean by that.
    Perhaps a screenshot or a quick mockup would really help.

    Would this apply to Community Events users ? All users or just some ? What would be the criteria ?

    And send to the person registered on my site newsletters who want to follow certain category

    This is a very interesting feature idea.

    We do not have a specific plugin for this at the current time. However, I am pretty certain this could be accomplished via the use of a third-party plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/subscribe-to-category/ (which might require tweaking to support the Event Categories ).

    By using something like Mailchimp with a widget that ties event categories to separate mailing lists.

    If coding is not really your thing, you could hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.

    Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good evening Sharon and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We are sorry to hear about the issues you are facing while trying to use Event Tickets Plus with WPML. I would love to help you with this topic.

    As much as I hate to be the bearer of bad news, the reason you have experienced all of these very annoying issues is because Event Tickets Plus is not compatible with WPML yet. You can read about it here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wpml-support/

    The good new however is that we have completed the analysis of that feature and we are working alongside the WPML team to make this feature a reality in 2017.

    Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned, we are really eager to release this much requested feature.

    In the meantime, there is a partial manual workaround. You can force assignment of tickets to the icl_language table in the 2 following ways:

    1. Head to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting page and run the 7 first clean up buttons.
    2. Deactivate and reactivate WPML

    Either way, you will need to do that after each ticket creation.
    That will make the ticket appear both in the backend and in the front-end.

    The downside is that you will be unable to create a true translation for the tickets for now.
    At best you can get 2 separate tickets (1 for each language), so stock sync will not be available for now.

    I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.

    Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good evening Tracy and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We are sorry to hear about the issues you have encountered with your calendar.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    he amount of whitespace beneath my main menu and the upper month banner is nearly 500px ! I cannot figure out how to shrink it to look correct.

    This is caused by a CSS rule in your theme. More specifically:

    #main {
    padding-top: 110px;
    padding-bottom: 50px;
    }

    Try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:

    .post-type-archive-tribe_events #main {
    padding-top: 0px !important;
    }

    In fact, I cannot even find “Events” as a page at all. I’ve got dozens of pages, and none of the rest of them have this problem

    That is because, the events page is actually not a real page per se (unless you use the Events Calendar Pro full calendar shortcodes). It is rather a complex archive type of page.

    To add it to your menu, you will need to use a custom link to https://www.aperturef8.com/newsite/events/

    Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good evening @danfeeley,

    I am mostly glad the CSS snippet I provided fixed the issue for you.

    I am not exactly sure why this appeared as of last version for you and Linda.
    So far, I have not seen any other reports of this and I was not able to reproduce this on an install with a default WordPress theme (such as twenty sixteen).

    Perhaps this is theme related ?

    Happy new year!
