ParticipantHello!
I am having issues after I create an event. The event shows up on my calendar and every other view listing, but once I click on it (or on the “find out more” link in the other views) I get an error page every single time. That happens also when I go to try to edit the page in cornerstone within creating the event edit page. I’m not sure if I am missing something here or what. Sorry if this is a simple fix, but I just can’t seem to figure out what I am doing wrong.
The only event that is working is the Sunday Services reoccurring event I just created.
TIA!

MemberGood evening Gary and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the error message you are getting while trying to view event listings.
I would love to help you with this topic. My first recommendation would be to go through the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/fixing-http-404-errors/
Secondly, I would highly recommend using a different slug for the single event view (e.g.: event) instead of having both the calendar slug and the single event slug both set to “events”.
Additionally, please make sure you do not have an actual page that has the “events” slug.
Even though the calendar and the events are not real pages, they still need exclusivity over these slugs.Let me know how that goes.

ParticipantThanks Geoff for the suggestions. I did go through the troubleshooting suggestions. It looks like there is a clash with the theme, but after looking through the slug suggestions it looked like we indeed have “events” used twice. I have since changed it and looks like it is currently working. I’m going to mess around with it a little bit more to make sure that’s all that is wrong.
Thank you again!
