ParticipantHi
I am developing a site and this is very urgent:I had an event and the buy button did show up.
than i installed WPML and added another language to the site.
Now the buy button does not show up.
to be sure, i just upgraded to v4.5.3 – didn’t help.
I am using woocommerce by the way.
in an event, i setup a ticket. after clicking save i do see the green “successfully saved” notice but the ticket is not editable and i cannot see that there’s a ticket attached to the event. in the event page no ticket at all.i tried creating a new event and the same – no ticket appears after the creation.
what can be the problem? i must find a solution ASAP.
thanks

ParticipantOK so i checked and I saw that the old event I created has a WooCommerce product that is “Event” attached, and in the event edit page I do see the ticket data.
However for all newer events I create the ticket is not created:
1. no ticket listed on event edit
2. no WooCommerce item saying “this is a ticket for…”
3. = no buy buttons on the event UI page.I tried to disable and re-enable the events tickets plus plugin. didn’t help.

MemberGood evening Sharon and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the issues you are facing while trying to use Event Tickets Plus with WPML. I would love to help you with this topic.
As much as I hate to be the bearer of bad news, the reason you have experienced all of these very annoying issues is because Event Tickets Plus is not compatible with WPML yet. You can read about it here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wpml-support/
The good new however is that we have completed the analysis of that feature and we are working alongside the WPML team to make this feature a reality in 2017.
Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned, we are really eager to release this much requested feature.
In the meantime, there is a partial manual workaround. You can force assignment of tickets to the icl_language table in the 2 following ways:
- Head to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting page and run the 7 first clean up buttons.
- Deactivate and reactivate WPML
Either way, you will need to do that after each ticket creation.
That will make the ticket appear both in the backend and in the front-end.The downside is that you will be unable to create a true translation for the tickets for now.
At best you can get 2 separate tickets (1 for each language), so stock sync will not be available for now.I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

ParticipantHi Geoff
I did the 7 cleaning steps and it started working (i don’t have to redo it
every time i create a ticket)
i will work with this workaround until v4.4 is out (as you said having a
single stock will be nice).thank you for your help

MemberGood evening Sharon,
I am super stoked that this helped you have a functional workaround (even if far from perfect)!
Thank you for your understanding.
You should be contacted when the feature is released.
Best regards,
Geoff B.
