Good afternoon Mike and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products. It’s truly appreciated.

However, please note that we do not offer support for our free plugin in this premium add-ons forum.

But, the good news is that you are still welcome to consult this forum to your liking and browse it for solutions, snippets and tutorials.

If you don’t mind, in the future could you please post your support questions here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/the-events-calendar or perhaps consider the purchase of one of our premium plugins to get access to premium support ?

With that in mind, based on your screenshots, it looks like you are using WPML.

Here are a couple of recommendations to ensure proper functioning:

    1. Make sure you have followed the instructions found here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/setting-up-the-events-calendar-with-wpml/
    2. Make sure you re-save your permalinks after each update (in the wp-admin dashboard under Settings > Permalinks)
    3. Try downgrading our plugins back to 4.3.5 (which is the recommend version for optimal WPML compatibility for now)

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

Good afternoon Titus and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

You are right, typically the cost field disappears from the backend when the Event Tickets plugins are activated.

The good news is that you can force it to reappear.

You can apply the following snippet in the functions.php file of your theme (without the PHP tag at the top): https://gist.github.com/GeoffEW/69f8a033fb614c78b3de45a197431135

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Salutations,

    Good morning Hugues,

Thank you for your awesome words, they are very appreciated.

Are you guys talking to the team at BB to possibly strengthen the integration of the events calendar with BB ? I’ve seen your product mentioned a few times on the fb BB forum (hell, I recommended it more than once :-))

That is a very interesting idea. The answer is “not that I am aware of”, but I will certainly relay the idea along.

For example: the “next event” “previous event” links on single events pages inherits the BB theme styles on desktop but revert back to default on small devices, requiring some custom css & media query to fix..

I see what you mean. Typically the theme authors end up being the ones that include theme specific CSS to integrate with our plugins.

This makes a lot of sense for many reasons. Mostly because it is impossible for us to keep track of all the themes that are out there and even more to keep track of how they change through time.

In fact, there are several theme that do a fantastic job at that. Avada and Eventica come top of mind.

You are welcome back in our support forums any time 🙂

For now, I am going to close this thread.

    Have a great week!

    Good morning Andrey,

    Thank you for your answer.

I am not offended, but we are sad to see you go.

Your type of feedback is very valuable since it helps us get better.
If this is your perception, chances are other people feel the same.

Full disclosure, we don’t mean for our plugin to be complicated.
But I guess that with all the features it offers, it can end up feeling like that.

In any case, if you ever change your mind or need more features, we would be happy to help you get your site up and running.

    Best of luck,
    Geoff B.

    Good evening Geoff,

First off, I am sorry for the late reply.

As you might have read, our team was unfortunately away on the annual team retreat.
I apologize for the delay this has caused.

You are right about the only remaining issue: the quantity bug is not related to the theme.
This means that the conflict lies elsewhere.

Based on what I am seeing on your install, it looks like WooCommerce needs to run an update of the database to work properly (there is a notice for that).

After a database backup, I would recommend running that update and seeing if that helps.

If it does not, our only other option would be to temporarily deactivate all other plugins (even other WooCommerce extensions) until we find the culprit.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good evening Frank,

    Sorry for the late reply.

As you might have seen, unfortunately our team, including myself, was away for our annual team retreat last week.

I apologize for the delay this has caused.
I am glad that you were able to make some progress even though the customization still needs to be tweaked further.

Just to set expectations, as you might know, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues.

We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.

With that in mind, the goal is to move the following action hook around:

    do_action( 'event_tickets_rsvp_after_ticket_row', tribe_events_get_ticket_event( $ticket->id ), $ticket );

As you have already seen, you might not be able to simply copy-paste the current code depending on where you want to move it to.

I can’t promise anything, but I will absolutely ask our coding ninjas to see if they can’t provide you with the proper structure to do just that.

    Hang in there,
    Geoff B.
