Good evening Forrest and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

Yes, absolutely. You need to have both the Events Calendar and the Events Calendar Pro plugins installed and activated on your website (the Events Calendar Pro actually extends the Events Calendar).

The following guide also walks you through these steps: http://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/new-user-primer-the-events-calendar-and-events-calendar-pro/

    Have a great day!

The short answer is yes we do, but you will need to apply for that first (and qualify).
You can read all about this here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/do-you-offer-discounts-for-nonprofit-organizations/

Good evening Stacie and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the price display being inaccurate.
I would love to help you with this topic.

Normally, when you have several tickets available, the display of the cost should automatically switch to a range.

The first thing I am noticing (although this most probably not related) is that you are using “ugly permalinks” (as opposed to pretty permalinks). I would recommend switching permalink structure if you get a chance.

With that in mind, by the looks of it the lack of range displaying is most likely caused by one of the following two reasons:

    1. Your WordPress theme (Creativo), might contain customizations that are in need of updating (or removal). Try temporarily reverting back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if that helps
    2. Could you make sure you completely empty the cache from W3 Total Cache

Finally, still not related, I am seeing an error with the Facebook connect feature on your site in the Google Chrome Developper console. You might want to check into that.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

Good evening Ole and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

Try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:

    .tribe-events-event-cost .tribe-out-of-stock, .tribe-events-event-cost .tribe-tickets-left {display: none !important}

This will remove the capacity from the list view.

    .tribe-events-tickets .tribe-tickets-remaining {display: none !important;}

Accomplishes the same on the single event view.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,

    Good evening Dave,

I am glad this worked out in the end.

Thank you for the heads up about Eventbrite’s recommendation and its undesired effect. I will make sure I pass the info around to the team here.

Is there anything else I can help you with today ?

    Have a great day!

Good afternoon Mark and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.

    – A swimming pool; just 1 kind of ticket available, just for the pool. Maybe several pricing levels (kids, adults, families). Is it possible to create one ticket with 3/4 different pricings

From a system’s point of view these are actually considered to be several tickets for the same event (in this case the swimming pool).

The good news is that you can absolutely offer these 3/4 different tickets and have them share a global stock. In other words, you will not exceed the pool’s capacity since the total number of tickets available is managed through our global stock option.

a kart / laser game center, different tickets; lasergame only, karting only or combi tickets
Is it possible to create different tickets with different pricings

Yes, you can have as many ticket types per event as you want. Each ticket can get its own pricing and it’s own stock-related rules.

As for combi tickets, this is also possible, but will require some effort to put in place.
The simplest way to address this would be through a third-party WooCommerce discount plugin.

Basically, this would provide an automatic discount for people purchasing both a karting and lasergame plugin.

are the tickets coming with a barcode or unique number printed?

Yes, absolutely. Actually, not a barcode, but a QR code: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-qr-codes-event-tickets-plus/

Is there a way to see any examples of final tickets? Would like to know what we can do to personalize the tickets with logo’s, colors, images etc.

I would recommend placing an order on our test site: https://wpshindig.com/event/event-tickets-demo/

You might also be interested in the following extension which adds PDF attachments of the tickets to emails https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/pdf-tickets/

You can absolutely customize tickets (just like most views of the calendar) to your exact requirements.

You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

In other words, the customization will be done using coding as opposed to a graphical user interface (GUI).

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Good afternoon and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the license key issues you ran into.
I would love to help you with this topic.

What is going on is that before you can input the Events Calendar Pro’s license key, you need to first download, install and activate the Events Calendar Pro add-on (on top of the Events Calendar).

This will create an additional license key tab for the Events Calendar Pro.

You might want to follow along this guide to make this a walk in the park: http://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/new-user-primer-the-events-calendar-and-events-calendar-pro/

Let me know how that goes.

I believe the following Knowledge Base article will help you get the photo view neatly organized: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/change-photo-view-to-equal-height-grid/

Another approach would be to tweak the length of the description of each event manually.
You can do this by using the Excerpt metabox of each event.

Let me know how that goes.

Good evening Nikki and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.

The short answer is yes, you can achieve embeds with the pro version: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/

Here are the 2 knowledge base articles on this very topic:

Good evening Andy and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

The first thing you should know is that we do not fully support Event Tickets Plus integration with WPML yet: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wpml-support/

This feature is scheduled to be released later this year.

In the meantime, you could get it to partially work, but this is unsupported.

To achieve that, you will need:

    1. WooCommerce multilingual
    2. Some manual intervention

After creating the ticket AND saving the event, head over to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting page.

Once you are there, you should see several cleanup buttons. I would recommend:

    1. Clearing WPML cache
    2. Using the button that forces language assignment to items (which is what is creating the issue). This can also be accomplished by deactivating and reactivating WPML.

Your ticket will now magically appear.

The only downside is that the tickets you create in other languages are not really translations of the initial ticket. They are completely independent new tickets.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

Good evening Dave and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.

The short answer is yes. Using the Events Calendar Pro (https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/), you have access to full calendar and widget shortcodes:

As an alternative, we are just about to release Loxi, an awesome new calendar platform that is all about embedding and looking dapper. You might want to subscribe to the newsletter to make sure you do not miss out on it: https://theeventscalendar.com/calendar-beyond-wordpress/

    Have a great day!
