MemberHi Ross,
Sure thing. I’ve gone ahead and issued a refund for your orders and the funds should be back in your account within 5-10 business days.
I’m definitely sorry ro hear our recurrence feature was not up to snuff for you here. I do hope that you will stay tuned and keep us in mind for future projects because we are in the process of updating the interface for creating recurring events and I know you’ll love the changes.
Cheers and thanks for giving us a shot.

MemberHi Brittany,
Great question!
Recurring events are a feature that is exclusive to Events Calendar PRO. You caa duplicate events in The Events Calendar, but they will not be grouped or related to one another in the same “series” of events as they would be in Events Calendar PRO when using the recurrence settings.
Yes, each instance of an event in a recurring series is it’s own post in WordPress. That means you can edit or remove a singular instance of the series without it impacting the rest.
However, the posts, are also properly indexed by Google and other search engines to ensure that they do not count negatively toward having duplicate content on your site. In other words, each post contains unique identifiers and markup tags in the code to ensure that they are recognized as unique calendar events on a website, even if content is similar or identical across multiple events.
And, yes, there is indeed a setting where you can choose to show only the next upcoming event in a recurring series on the calendar instead of listing them all. There are also options to limit how far in advance recurring events can be displayed at a time and to clean up past recurring events after a certain amount of time has past.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi Sara,
I’ve gone ahead and deactivated your license for Events Calendar PRO and exchanged it for a Filter Bar license.
You can access the new license key by logging into your account on our site and navigating to My Account > License Keys. You will also be able to access a download of Filter Bar by navigating to the Downloads screen from there.
Let me know if you have any issues accessing your new license key and I’d be happy to help. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHowdy @nnyorker,
Ticket sales are the are the primary way to monetize The Events Calendar and Event Tickets at the moment. We also introduced Community Tickets a little while back so that you could monetize event submissions using Community Events by allowing other folks to sell tickets on your site and to split the sales with you.
Charging a fee for listing an event is certainly another way to go. While Community Events does not support that right out of the box, you might want to consider looking into Restrict Content Pro. That would allow you to add a paywall where someone would need to pay in order to access the event submission form, effectively allowing to charge for Community Events submissions.

MemberHello @zivameditation,
Great question! Event Aggregator is designed only to look for events that currently exist at the source it is importing from. It actually has no way to know whether an event has been deleted from the source because the feed simply removes that data and does not provide Event Aggregator with anything from which to update, if that makes sense.
So, in other words, once an event has been imported from Google Calendar to The Events Calendar, Event Aggregator is able to see whether a new event exists and should be imported, or whether an existing event has changed and if those changes should be imported, but it is unable to remove an event that no longer exists in the feed.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂

MemberHi Isaiah,
Thanks for getting in touch! It’s awesome to hear you’re interested in seeing our calendaring system implemented into your site. 🙂
The Events Calendar is unfortunately limited to WordPress, which means it is unable to be integrated into other content or website management platforms. It would definitely neat to see our plugins extended to support sites on other platforms but I’m sorry to say that’s not possible at the moment.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.
Cheers!

MemberHey there and thanks for getting in touch!
We’d be happy to help — but I do want to note that our Translations forum is used to answer questions about translating the plugins.
If you’re looking for technical support, it would be awesome if you could post your question to our <u>WordPress.org support forum</u>.
Or, if you already have an active license for one of premium plugins, will you please log into your account and post your topic to our premium support forum instead?
And, when you do post a new thread, it would be awesome if you could provide a link (and possibly screenshots of the event editor) where we can see the issue.
Thanks so much!

MemberHello Megan!
Once you have Community Events and Community Tickets, you will also be able to access all of the events you have added to the calendar from the front end, including the reports and ability to check in an attendee.
All of your events will be located at: [your-site]/events/community/list
Click the “Attendees” link for any of your events with tickets and that will display all the registered attendees and the ability to check them in without having to be in the WordPress admin.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHey Max, thanks for getting in touch and welcome to the forums!
I think the best way to go about this is to use the Post Type Switcher plugin. It allows you to change the post type of any post to another one. You can even use the Bulk Edit action to change the post type of multiple posts at once.
Will this work for you? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi Rob, thanks for checking out our products! I hope they’re a good fit.
I’d suggest checking out our Community Events add-on. It adds a submission form to your site that allows visitors to submit events to The Events Calendar.
If you want to charge a fee for event submissions, then you might want to also look into Restrict Content Pro. You could use that to add a paywall before allowing anyone to access the Community Events submission form.
Does this sound like it will do the trick? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi Linda,
Thanks for reaching out! These are great questions.
The short answer is yes to all of those things, except for the very last one. Community Events can handle the featured images, events being published to your calendar and categories being selected during submission.
What is cannot do is charge a fee for event submissions. You might, however, want to look into Restrict Content Pro as a way to make that happen though. You could use it to add a paywall before anyone is allowed to access the event submission form.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!
