Venue and organizer pages

Hi,

I’m currently using the free version, and when I click on a venue link, I’m taken to the site’s homepage after a delay, even if the link seems correct <sitename>/venue/<venuename>

I read somewhere in the KB that the Pro version had specific venue pages, so by deduction I suppose the free version has not ?

If you can confirm that this is a normal behavior for the free version and that there’s no simple way to display a venue page, then do I need to buy the Pro to have this functionality ?

Hi Roger,

Yes, that is correct: The venue and organizer should not have a link when The Events Calendar is the only plugin active. The name of the venue or organizer should only ever link if Events Calendar PRO is active as well.

Here’s a side-by-side comparison of the change when Events Calendar PRO is activated:

Once Events Calendar PRO is active and the link is displayed, the link will open up a page with more information about the venue or organizer.
