MemberHey Benjamin! Thanks for reaching out and checking out the plugins. 🙂
That’s a great question. The plugins are not fully compatible with WPML at the moment. In some cases, the conflicts are small and tolerable. In others, it’s a much bigger deal.
We’re well aware of the conflicts and working with the WPML team to have our products play nicer together in future releases. No timetables yet, but it is certainly on the radar for both of us.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.

MemberHi there, Karen! So sorry to hear you’re bumping into trouble with your site’s widgets when PRO is activated. Let’s see if we can figure this out together.
Do you happen to have Jetpack installed? We saw a recent issue come in that sounds very similar to what you’re describing and it was related to a compatibility issue with the Jetpack visibility feature.
If that’s the case, then please try the solution that was suggested in this comment of the thread. It helped resolve the same issue for several other people who reported it in that thread.
Let’s start with that and proceed from there. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi there, marlieinthesouth!
Good question. Embedding a featured event on any page is not currently a feature that is supported.
One idea might be to use the Events List widget to help with this. For example, you could create an Event Category called “Featured” then display the widget and set it to only show events in the “Featured” category using the filter options in the widget settings.
How can I also add a featured image to the countdown?
No, not right out of the box, though it could be done with some custom development. You can override the template for the widget (it’s located at /plugins/events-calendar-pro/views/pro/widgets/countdown-widget.php) and follow the steps in our Themer’s Guide to modify it to display the event’s featured image. Here’s more on displaying a featured image in the WordPress Codex.
Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know. 🙂

MemberHi there, thefairways! Thanks for getting in touch and sorry you’re hitting some trouble with the Week View layout.
Week View tends to be more effective when there are fewer events with overlapping times. The more events that bump into each other, then the more there is going to be overlap like what we’re seeing the screenshot you shared and where other views like List and Photo tend to be much more effective.
One possible idea is to force each event to occupy only half the space. This can be done by adding a little CSS to your theme’s style.css file:
.tribe-events-week .tribe-events-grid .type-tribe_events.hentry { max-width: 50%!important; }Again, if there are three or more events that overlap, this may not be the best solution.
Also is there a way to print a clean/neat weekly schedule?
Unfortunately, we do not have a solid way to print the weekly schedule right out of the box. I can see how that would be super useful, especially in this case, and it would be great if you suggested it over on our UserVoice page for further consideration.
Sorry I don’t have concrete solutions for you here, but does this help answer your questions? Please let me know.
Cheers!

MemberHi there, JG! Thanks for getting in touch and sorry you’re hitting some trouble here with the quantity controls in the ticket form.
It looks like the following CSS is overriding the WooTickets CSS:
.cart .quantity input.plus, .cart .quantity input.minus { display: none!important }That’s coming from the woocommerce.css file in your theme directory. If you remove that, then the buttons will show back up. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHey there, bolt! Thanks for getting in touch. 🙂
Good question and the answer is yes, that is totally doable. It does take a little bit of custom development on your end, but I’m happy to outline the steps for you:
- Make a copy of the following file: /plugins/events-calendar-pro/views/pro/widgets/modules/single-event.php
- Create a new folder in your theme directory called tribe-events
- Make another folder in there called pro
- Make another folder in that one called widgets
- Make yet another folder in there called modules
- Drop your copied <i>single-event.php</i> file in that folder
You should now have a file located at:
[your-theme]/tribe-events/pro/widgets/modules/single-event.phpNow that the widget template is in your theme files, you can modify it to suit your needs. In this case, you will want to update the H2 tags in Lines 53-56:
<h2 class="entry-title summary"> <a href="<?php echo tribe_get_event_link(); ?>" rel="bookmark"><?php the_title(); ?></a> </h2>These steps are detailed much more thoroughly in our Themer’s Guide. Please check that out if you have a chance.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!
