Year view via the Agenda View mini plugin or other resource

Hello,

We have need of a yearly view to show waste (garbage) and recycling calendars for the towns under our jurisdiction. I’ve found the Agenda View mini plugin resource referenced on the web https://github.com/moderntribe/tribe-events-agenda-view ; however, the linked tutorial page is no longer valid (dead link from Git http://tri.be/using-the-stub-plugin-to-create-new-views/?utm_medium=plugin-tec&utm_source=github&utm_campaign=in-app)

Can you point to an updated tutorial or resource?

Essentially the goal is to show a yearly calendar by month for a town with the recurring days’ garbage and recycling collection. Basically we publish PDFs by town that have a gird of 12 months and within each month the appropriate days are highlighted. This is an example of one of our towns’ recycling; our goal is to remove the need to publish PDFs and use TEC as resource for this via categories for collections / town collections http://www.trc.qld.gov.au/sites/default/files/2014%20-%20Atherton.pdf here’s another http://www.trc.qld.gov.au/sites/default/files/2014%20-%20Minbun.pdf

Good question. The Agenda View plugin was something we created as an example of how to customize the calendar quite a while ago and unfortunately isn’t something we maintain any longer. We took the tutorial down some time ago and don’t have any updated materials for it. Sorry about that!

If you’re looking to build your own template (and perhaps use the Agenda View plugin code as a starting point), I’d suggest referring to our Themer’s Guide as well as our documentation to get you going. We’re also always taking new feature suggestions over here if Year View is something you’d like us to consider in the future.

Sorry I don’t have more of a solid solution for you here, but I hope this helps point you in the right direction.
