ParticipantHi, I just updated from regular Events Calendar to Pro version and it when I updated and put in my license key, all of the events that I had updated had vanished and when I try to add new ones, it acts like its adding them, but they don’t actually add. The links to them do not work and they don’t show up on the actual ‘Events’ page on the backend. It does show that I have events, however. in the filter on wordpress, where I can filter ‘All’, ‘Published’, and ‘Trash’ it shows that I have events, but they don’t actually show up even when I filter.

MemberHi Kayhan, welcome to the forums! Thanks for reaching out and sorry you’re having some trouble with publishing events after upgrading to PRO. Let’s see if we can get to the bottom of it. 🙂
If I’m understanding correctly, you were using the free The Events Calendar plugin, had created events, installed The Events Calendar PRO, entered your license key information, then events posts began disappearing from the back end of your site. That’s certainly odd!
Let’s try three things to get started:
1) Check version numbers
I see you noted that you are using Version 3.9 of The Events Calendar PRO. Are you using 3.9 for The Events Calendar as well? Make sure both are installed, activated and using the same version.
2) Test for theme conflicts
It looks like you’ve already tried deactivating other plugins (thanks!), but will you also try switching to a default WordPress theme as well? I’m curious if there is a theme conflict at play and this will help us determine that.
It also wouldn’t hurt to follow the steps outlined in our Testing for Conflicts Guide. You’ve already done part of it, but it’s super helpful if you are able to run through these steps in order. This often leads to the source of many of the issues we see here in the forums.
3) Install fresh copies of the plugins
I wonder if a file in one of the plugins was corrupted during installation. If so, a fresh install would certainly help. Please try downloading a fresh copy of The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar PRO. You can download The Events Calendar on WordPress.org and PRO right on this site by heading to My Account > Downloads.
Once you have the fresh copies, please delete the current copies from WordPress (Plugins > Installed Plugins, deactivate then delete) and install and activate the new ones.

Please give these a shot and let me know what you find. 🙂
Cheers!
